according to history, brm hardly move because of ftse! last time when dutch bank made the offer to brm, it was about 2-3pm, brm announced the potential talk offer after a rise of 30%.... (back to a few months ago) now, the whole morning , i didn't check , it is already up more than 50%...how nice

they must know sth in advance already, what do u think ahk9? if not, a few days back, they were willing to sell at 1.8p, and today, only a few transactions, the sp up 30%!!!!! nice that you got a big bunch yesterday! and, by the way, i am not attending the agm this year! i haven't got one on the rise. but, i know there are good news to come when i got the email reply from brm, vence, i think. mms must know sth in advance and we don't. hold tight guys. dutch bank were in many many shares when it was about 6p and then they made the offer to the co. i really was attemted to discard my shares at a loss of 75% , 1 week ago, but then, i had another think? what is the point? why so eager to sell at a huge loss? do you really need the money? why not keep it for years and years to come???? so i did, ! so, i am hoping a 200% increase at least before selling!

i think the way that they are confident and their outlook of future news...on their way, only a couple of month time.... i am quite positive of their response to my enquiry... good luck to all the share holders.

Sahill Shan, health care analyst at Brewin Dolphin, said that the market reaction to the news was excessive and suspected that it was based on a view that the company would go bust. He said that this assumption was wrong and that he had expected a fall of between 25% and 30%. (news of yesterday, monday, link from orslega's message!)

it seems that all large transactions, say more than 100k shares, are buys, no large sells.

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Cambrian Mining Plc. said the value of its key listed investments is now around 411 million pounds, or 421 pence per share. In April, as part of its strategic review, the mining investment company said the current market value of its listed investments was 223 million pounds, equivalent to 228 pence per share as of April 4. This increase is largely due to the value of its Western Canadian Coal Corp. holding, which now has a value of about 351 million pounds, up from 178 million in April, after WCC's share price shot up to about 360 pence per share from around 182 pence.
