What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a driven individual to tell Synairgen’s story and create awareness and excitement around our novel drug development programme. The role will involve the creation of a wide range of high-quality written scientific content for the company, including manuscripts, abstracts, meeting presentations, training course and website content.
To achieve this, the candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, thought leaders and external companies supporting the generation of content around our story.
The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
At least 3–5 years of writing experience within a medical communications or pharmaceutical company
BSc /MSc/PhD in a life science subject
A strong track record in publication planning and delivery, with a preference for expertise in Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, and/or Critical Care is strongly preferred
A clear understanding of the current publication environment, ICMJE, GPP3, and other relevant guidelines related to scientific data dissemination
Able to understand complex scientific and medical concepts and have an adaptable writing style in order to produce a full range of publication plan outputs
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Effective organisational skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a small, emerging biotechnology organisation
Ability to travel Internationally to scientific meetings as required
Ability to work as part of team and independently
