Looks like a national lock down will be announced....not really surprising

Unfortunately looking at the numbers today 981 deaths it looks like the prediction was correct :( stay safe people!

ShaunP had thought the same, it would appear to be the only logical move or by the second week in Jan we will see 1000+ deaths per day. Even with full lock down we could see high numbers. Am in a tier 4 lockdown area and have to save it still seems business as usual for a lot of people which is madness!
Until last week I had only personally heard of 1 positive (amongst friends and family) in the past 6 days this has increased to 1 death (friends dad) and 8 positive cases (from 6 different households)
The vaccine news today will unfortunately just bread more complacency.
Full lock down for minimum 3 weeks is needed to bring some realism back and reduce the numbers!
