The Health Journo from the Guardian should be ashamed and clearly doesn’t understand the data or how tests are actually tested for specificity. PHE also used different method of obtaining subjects out of the norm on how accuracy is detected.

1. Other companies across world who submit test for analysis of accuracy do so via FINDSXX.ORG - FIND is the Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics and they are linked with World Health Organization and collate all Covid tests worldwide who submit for approval and testing of their tests - commercialised and in development.
2. FINDS is the go to place for health orgs/gov’s/health authorities /large scale buyers etc as it collates all the info on each test/maker andwhat accreditation they have eg FDA or CE etc
3. They also test accuracy of tests in development or commercialised.
4. They used PCR positive/negative detection subjects as their base

BMJ state’s that the analysis of the AH antibody test specifity differs from the companies - however this is where it gets interesting...they state that in order to test the test they didn’t use PCR positive/negative result subjects but instead decided to use ‘ as known positives unselected key workers with no PCR confirmation of infection but a positive antibody test with the Roche Elecsys anti-nucleoprotein assay—they estimated an even lower sensitivity (84.7%, 80.6% to 88.1%) of the AbC-19 assay.5‘
6. So they say their reasoning to use results from another antibody test as positives/negatives subjects was because ‘it tends to be the most severe cases of coronavirus 2019 (covid-19) that undergo PCR testing, and these patients generate stronger antibody responses.4‘
7. That claim is simply not reliable - PCR tests are used all over U.K. for a variety of reasons including many asymptomatic who for eg need hospital treatment or have been in contact with someone who has had the virus both which would result in a t-cell response or lower level antibody production.

This whole thing has been absolutely messed around with. The results of the original specifity and accuracy stand. PHE ‘s pathetic analysis is warped and doesn’t even follow the same methodology as FINDS who test all the other antibody tests if submitted. They are happy to use subjects from PCR test results so what’s wrong with AH using them!
On top of that’s what’s the actual specifity of the Roche test I mean how do we know that the subjects were accurate they used if they weren’t the most reliable PCR tested subjects. That clearly would have an effect on the results if it wasn’t actually accurate itself. Anyone know the % specifity for Roche then?

And people understand that this has been overegged to a massive degree - MMS are playing with this as I’ve just witnessed as many buy orders to fill as drum roll...everyone wants a huge slice of the ODX pie! THEY NEED SELLERS so sit on your hands and watch it bounce back.

Nobody in rest of world nor private buyers cares what poxy PHE study which is being disbanded lols thinks. It’s their opinion which seemingly only matters to the guardian left wing press so they can have a pop at the gov. Believe me impossible to get large volumes - my platform timed out offer prices even when I can get them. MM are miking this to say the least. A huge overreaction here and as buy demand shows this will right itself and market will correct back minimum into 50s now.

Am I being thick here but aren’t we producing antibody test with Mologic currently being evaluated for accuracy with FINDS? WHO ?? So interesting to see what this comes out as.

Isn’t this a huge overreaction in article (Politically motivated imho) considering general accuracy in real world setting is always lower and applicable to all manufacturers of Covid tests.Abingdon well what can I say but its an evaluation by PHE so that’s hardly a top tier recco. Storm in a tea cup - we’ve sold them and will continue to do so. I think we should put them up for another independent evaluation and shove it to PHE and Guardian.

I think I rest my case Allstar - exactly thanks sellers - the MMS wanted your shares - sellers you gave them to them cheap delivered on a plate. You could’ve done so further up the tree. I deal in large volumes - so people who’ve really invested huge sums here can’t easily buy back cheaper if they sell when the SP is dropped - have you learnt nothing from this morning?

Allstar - of course they can but point is - EACH TRADE MAKES A DIFFERENCE with this stock as so little free float - so who if they’ve any experience says yes this is a great time to sell when it’s gone to NT in auction to buy even 100 quids worth many times already this morning - that’s the point! When they switch it to NT to sell so they can take down the BID behind the screen - yeah that’s the best time to sell...said no investor worth their salt EVER.

You need to work on your strategy - who sells in a stock where so little free float means the MMS can’t sell you any over and over and over again. You want to see 20’s try holding for a nanosecond. There’s no helping people but you are literally stalling the progress of the rise and filling orders with your shares. This is about value and profit - we are way undervalued at this level so I can only think it’s complete amateur numpties who are pressing the sell button!
