Wow the market makers need to get a grip on their quotes this is simply not a fair or orderly market being made now - it’s really not necessary to make it so volatile - the spread is being hugely messed with within seconds

Definitely less ‘fair and orderly’ market being made here and one that’s being heavily played with. I’m thinking a lot of large buy orders - delayed prints will be seen later on.

I think institutions and pi’s with experienced deep pockets clearly buying here around the 2.40 mark hence the suppressed price movements on the Bid. All smoke and mirrors surrounding this stock now with true fundamentals and value of its assets being ignored and instead the whole focus is just on the movement and news of the war.
Hold tight and make your positions and as you said POLY will navigate it’s way through and come out the other end. April 25th will put the focus back on to the company and it’s revenue and successes. Then after this May 9th is looming large with I believe will be the final nail in the coffin for Putin when there’s no victory for his parade. Stormy waters will recede as it’s accepted that the cost of his war is unsustainable for Russia and this will allow us to begin to steer back into calmer waters…

Yet again they’ve swiped it down to try and get sellers within seconds dummy sell quote went from 2.61 to 2.51 - investors have no appetite to sell at this level. The market will need to take this higher but it just gives you an overview of the erratic market being made here and not the fair and orderly one their job is to make.

It’s been mad pricing here today - all over the place with constant huge disparity between Bid and Ask - expect this is a number of algo trades confusing the system. I’m not going to call the close price today who knows! Anyone’s guess with this madness.

You still need to hold by the ex dividend date as the dividend has been POSTPONED and not cancelled. Market making the most if this 2.40 is strong support here. Back into auction it seems as buy order demand high.

Very good point - you will still need to be in this at ex-dividend day as it’s being Postponed NOT cancelled!

Dividend postponement is a good business decision at this time to keep in cash ready as contingency - it’s not a cancellation so we could be in line for a hefty payment next dividend day. I think most have priced this in already. The market also now knows the score as market hates uncertainty so they have a good clear plan decided.

The whole trading angle today has been that the market want sellers - large orders being filled in the mid/late 2.60’s region hence the constant pullbacks, swipe downs after heavy buying as wider spread still didn’t deter buyers and the full reluctance today to allow this over 2.75 until they’re filled. Tomorrow I think they will allow it to run free

Investors being steadfast in not selling so low - the market will need to take this on up if they want sellers which indeed it seems they do - several times this morning I could’ve sold for more than I could buy. People have made their positions and not willing to give them up when so volatile and getting nearer to dividend day. Danger is they may not be able to get them back again once they’ve sold - I’d say that’s more of the risk here at this level than holding tight.

Hungary PM asks for ceasefire

‘Hungary's Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, says he spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin at length earlier today.

During their conversation he reportedly asked the Russian leader to put in place a ceasefire in Ukraine.

He told a news conference that he'd invited Putin for peace talks in Hungary.

He says Putin's response was "positive, but with conditions", but gave no further detail.’

- so what would a peaceful ceasefire likely do to the SP?

We are not Evraz! They couldn’t be seen to pay the 4.4 plus million dividend to Ambranovich that’s all. Timely reminder we are a different company all together and operating in all jurisdictions as normal. BLUE day tomorrow as we get nearer to qualifying dividend day and only 4 days trading this week… I also think Pope’s comments on urging ceasefire and peace will resonate with highly catholic population of Russia.

Wow the market makers are utterly ruthless in trying too hard to hold this -they’re so determined that they’ve confused themselves they just gave me the Ask on a dummy sell lol - I ain’t selling but just demonstrates how investors are getting mugged - they want them bad but are playing it dirty to get them. Looks like a market maker tussle if you ask me. But we will be finishing strongly above 3.00 today imo.
