I've totalled over £500,000 worth of 'big' buys today, about 1,500,000 shares.

If that's not a buy signal what is (apart from AM buying over £200,000 worth)?!

Its funny how we see buys of £50k, £124k, £165k, yet we see sells of £5, £50, £1k etc.

Why sell when there are obviously people loading big time because they know something big is going to happen, you don't put that kind of money in as a punt?!

34.15 and 34.20 and anything above are all buys, doing dummy buys.

Don't get me wrong, I would obviouly take more! But you have to be realistic.

£3, I can live with, anything over is a bonus. Its better to be overwhelmed than be dissappointed.

CPR will be key obviously, all this share buying by ART is for a reaon.

Not the first offer necessarily, Art won't sell it cheap cheap, but I'm sure he would know a good deal if he saw one. He would hold out if he knew he was talking to 2-3 buyers, if it was just the one, then thats different.

We all know BoD's do get something under the table too sometimes, can't rule that out either.

Like I say £3 would do for most, given no matter what happens millions would have to be spent investing, and where do you think that would come from?!

Hopefully we get the CPR asap, then we know what could be a likely target.

Jiddy, I totally get that, yes normally 2-3 years, but I think we have something different here with COPL.

If 12 months ago I said we would be no better off SP wise and no higher than 40p, would you have invested then? Or waited until it was 20p and then invested? This is my point.

Yes, I was being a bit greedy even at £5, to be honest I would take £3.

Like I say, no matter what price we got bought at, it will make you smile and enjoy life knowing you're a (bit) better off.

Problem with COPL is there are too many pi's trading this with literally 2-3% profit, it goes up 2-3% and sellers come in, drops and goes up. When the buys come you can tell it wants to go higher, but then those F'in sellers come in again.

This is why I would want a buy-out sooner rather than later, as people saying £20-30 odd, thats not going to happen for years and years! We can't even get past 40p and thats with massive potential, and more than 12 months later we are worse off SP wise!

A buy-out of around £4-5 would do me, think most would accept that, I cant see anyone coming in at £10 odd or more, as the whole point of a buy-out is for them to make a massive profit in the future after buying the company, plus spending millions on drills etc, so they will still have to invest millions to bring it to the maximum potential. POO is not going to stay around $100 forever, just like everything else, it goes up and down.

I would have thought most would want to better their lives now in the next few months, for their kids and families, not in necessarily in 3-5yrs. Who knows what can happen in the future.

Art is early 60's (he is not mid-50's - check companies house), would you want the stress of running an oil business at that age given how tough it is, or would you rather walk away with millions and millions in the bank enjoying your life with family. I know what I'd do :)

So we instantly push to £2 (for example) on open or whatever, or a measely 20% open and then everyone piles in?

Who would rate us based on the CPR, TSX or LSE? I'm guessing we would want TSX as they are more likely to use the p/e 25 than the dimwits over here.

Anything is worth a try now, its so frustrating.

We should be in the 40/50's by now, and yet we have a major discovery (potential billion) and Atomic, and now worth less than what we were a year ago before we got these??!! How does that work?!

The buys are definitely out weighing the sells, especially in the last hour or so, hoping this will pick up later this afternoon, once all the sellers go away!

PB, thats why he needs to strike while the iron is hot, not keep dragging things out longer, as you don't know what can happen in the future.

Everytime we seem to make head way, we keep ending back where we are a year ago. Thats why I can't see us ever going over £10, and a T/O is our best option due to the way things are handled.

Don't get me wrong, I'd settle for anything over £3, but dont think too many of us could wait a few years!

We might be 11% down, but we are not even in the top 30 fallers, that tells you whats happening in the wider market!

I continue to hold even though I was making 25% last week, I'm back to evens again, keep thinking it won't go back, but always does unfortunately.

I do think we need some proper figures by someone we all Trust and know is one of the Top posters here - Tedoby, think that may help some pi's mind at rest. Either way still holding, don't want to miss out any any potential RNS, whether its the CPR/JV/Takeover/CUDA etc.

We've waited so long already, I'd be soooo p'd off if I missed anythign now, is it worth saving a penny or two for the sake of making our lives better for us and our family?! Absoluely not. Opportunities like this don't come around often.
