Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
I'm not sure BB2, things are different at the moment with Putin etc. They might want to get in early to secure any kind of potential massive find, if its proven it is there, why wait for a bidding war against others?
Yes it might cost them more to develop it, but knowing they will easily get their money back - thats why they invest.

And people think this is going £10/£20/£30, not in a million years if he is in charge??!!
All we need is a buy out asap to end this ****e show.
Really hope May is for us, another week or so with the CPR, hopefully we will get some notice from the Majors and buy us out completely! Oh please!
GLA
Well Jiddy I am 40% down, yes I understand to gain the most you would say 3-5 years, however, I'm sure most here would say that after almost a year and a half we shouldn't be less than where we were before Atomic. Yes, placings have taken to help build COPL - totally understand that, but still, not at 20p!

Just out of interest, why would you say 2-3 years max. (I know you said 'max'), but why wouldn't a Major not come in much earlier, say by the end of the year? Would it not be in their interest to buy sooner rather later, or do they think that poo will drop significntly and the longer they wait, the better it is for them? OR once the infrastructure is all in place they don't need to do much else apart from profit from it!
Obviously all subject to RSP etc.
Just putting it out there, not de-ramping or ramping. Have a lot of money for me in here for more than a year, and want to reap the benefits sooner for my family!

Given that there are some here, that are hell bent on starting placing rumours, I' thought I'd change the narrative to a take over rumour given the other extreme.
Who do you think are likely to possibly t/o COPL as whole or part, obviously once the RSR has been confirmed?
Do you think its likely to be sooner or 6 month plus ?
I do believe in COPL, but what gets me is that many LTH's are under water at the moment, including me, and yet its the new holders that have been constantly being able to get in much lower because of the placing rumours/lies, all he needs to do is come out and so there isnt any, and get these scums off our backs!

Just to make some of you aware, the Bed & ISA transactions are usually going through as sells, not necesssarily as sell (red) & buy (blue).
I have seen quite a few transactions go through this way, and when I did my B&I last year, the sale went through as red, and the buy went through as a red too.
Also, the spread between the bid and ask is very tight, with some platforms they have special prices as they are obviously a sell and immediate buy - so dont want the client to lose out. I know of one broker that says you will not be worse off by more than £50 per investment when doing a B&I, hence, the very tight spread and why some transactions will both show red.
So, just because you see (any/large) two similar transactions as red, doesn't necessarily mean they are all sells.
Hope that helps.

Must admit, I was very surprised with the mid-morning RNS, but very happy he has done this, so thank you AM.
Even more so for all the Bed & ISA transactions, they got it low, win win for some.

So people mentioning placing when there is no evidence of it, is that not negative and hence pi's selling because they think there will be one?
Can you back up their claim that there is a placing?!
No I don't think it does as pi's are selling because AM hasn't come out and confirmed what we need to know about lots of things, which would ahve settled things 2 days ago!

Morning Tantricman
I am with you on your thoughts, I do beleive in COPL, but I persosonally do not believe in our CEO in helping our amazing situation we are in, where as you say we have potentially around a billion barrels of oil.
We are we we are because of shorters and traders, and some continually showing negatives posts, when in the great scheme of things, are very minor. Unfortunately our CEO has refused to set the record straight, and confirm things that should be easy to confirm in an RNS, hence the continued panic and sell off. If he updated us properly, I believe we would be a much better position SP wise.
All I would say is go through Tiburn's excellent posts (as well as a few others) and judge for yourself, as most here would say they represent a good analysis of COPL.
Hope that helps, and we all hope you do live way beyond COPL's rise, and benefit financially, Jays's recent passing just goes to show we all want this sooner rather than later.
Best of luck.

Stas, I've hardley been abusive saying I don't trust the CEO, but believe in COPL and the potential here.
I am, as well as others, are allowed to voice opinions about memebers of the board, if we don't feel they are doing a good enough job. If you weren't doing good at your job, do you think all your colleagues would be happy or your boss?
Can you 100% say you are totally satisfied with what he has done to date, given where we are after almost 18 months? Even the hardest COPL invester would criticise him - I'm sure Tiburn has regarding comms. The SP would be much higher if he relayed things more, and said whats going on, we don't want a daily update, but just merely more than what we get now - is that too much to ask?
Theres nothing wrong with asking for my info, when you look at things, you have to look at it from both sides of the fence, that way you can understand why people have different views, you may not agree, thats fine, but it just helps you understand what they are saying, and then comment.
GLA
Rammer - 50p would be robbery - I'm sure even he's not stupid enough to let it go that cheap.
Given the billion barrel of oil, minimum £1, I'd still be happy to be honest - think anyone would at this point!
GLA
Exactly Sweepie, thats my point.
Its extremely sad what happened Jay, I feel for his family.
If anyone here has kids, you want to ensure you can do the best for them now, not in 3-5 years time when they're older, or missed the opportunity, this is why we are here to help now and secure their future, and enjoy the time while you can.
