It means you didnt pay attention in your maths lesson...lol Every 100 shares at 0.1 (equal to 10p) now becomes 1share @10p .same value but a reduction in volume of total shares in issue............ 841,361,040. to 8,413,610...(100 times less) Maybe a 10p share looks better than a point of a penny share and also the volume of issued shares become more managable .....(just my own thoughts) In the case of VTO (one of several shares that comes to mind) the share price has almost dropped back to the pre-consolidation figure,off the top of my head it was 10 shares at 3p for 1 share at 30p and is now back around the 4p to 5p margin, a major drop for any one buying in at 30p to hold ................I tread carefully..

GE&CR initiated its coverage of mining stock DiamonEx* (DON), late in the day with a "buy" stance at 12p and an initial target of 18p although the note suggested that with a following wind the shares could hit 60p plus. The shares closed at 12p.
