evening all
drop not unexpected but i really feel like most of you that all bad news now out of the way.
Some excellent snippets indicating bullish potential of NEX:
"With lockdowns and restrictions still in place in many territories, the outlook for the current year and the timing of the recovery remain difficult to predict, but it is encouraging that we continue to win new and retain existing contracts. Furthermore, when travel restrictions have been lifted, we have seen a rapid recovery in demand."
" This partnership approach, and the non-discretionary nature of the majority of our services positions us well for a strong recovery as travel restrictions are lifted in the months ahead. This is boosted by the sustainable cost savings made, and new contracts won during the period."
"This is a great business that was performing strongly ahead of the pandemic. We have acted swiftly and decisively, and we are well positioned to emerge strongly as the impact of Covid-19 recedes. Vaccination programmes are picking up pace and we see an improving trajectory in each of our businesses as the year progresses. "
all bodes well

Us markets rising now following powell statement
But good comments below.... long term nex should be fine
my thoughts exactly
markets are usually forward looking and the outlook statements will be key for NEX
economy re-opening slowly, fans allowed to travel to games/concerts using buses/trains, schools re-opening - lots to look forward too.
Yes Secretly...i must have mis-read!
The Company announces a revised date for the publication of its Full Year Results for the year ended 31 December 2020.
The results will now be published on 18 March 2021, one week later than previously expected. Given practical constraints due to the lockdown, this short delay will allow sufficient time for Deloitte to complete their audit.
The Company will hold a webcast presentation and live Q&A session on the morning of 18 March, the webcast will be broadcast on www.nationalexpressgroup.com
Nice little boost news prior to Wednesday results!
Great timing!
