Sat,i think the Cayman Fund have added significantly to their holdings in the last week or so including yesterday,if you remember a few weeks back this was being held at 10p and suddenly we get a holdings announcement and shortly after this was 30% higher.I think we are seeing same thing now, they are adding IMVHO and it will move sharply when ready :-) Yesterdays news was very very significant,it means VLS can now monitise their plans ! and I suggest we are about to get a whole raft of positive newsflow.
Philipp Stratmann on BRR :-) http://webcasting.brrmedia.co.uk/broadcast/5aaa784192ce37082371436b
Yesterdays news will now be the starting gun for the company to get news out on a whole host of things IMO,i think we will see some good coverage in the weekend press because Velocys is the first company in the world to get these D7 credits so this is a major Uk success on the tech front. VLS is in a great position now,and lets not forget they have a big cashpile after recent fundraise which amounts to around two thirds of current market cap.It is too cheap for what is on offer IMVHO.We have two wealthy billionaires with large holdings,i wonder what they think this company could really be worth :-) Has this been softened up for a T/O ?? Is very likely one of the big boys will be eyeing this.
Also consider that over two thirds of its current market cap is cash, this has a lot of upside on the way IMVHO
It is actually the exact same pattern as a few weeks back when the Cayman Fund bought near 10% of the company, there were what appeared drip retail sells fed in at regular intervals at the same quantity and then low and behold two days later we get a very late submitted TR1 stating the new investor bought a big chunk of the company and then two days later is trading 30% higher. It would appear this is happening again,is the new investor being fed shares from Invesco again ?? This could be over 20p soon IMVHO
If you do the sums there is some hefty profits on offer from these plants, and in my opinion that is why we have two wealthy billionaire,s building a sizable stake here. This is a very lucrative future T/O for someone that is for sure.
DBH,remember the company gave us some figures recently so we can see what impact todays news will have on revenues.Profit per barrel of $135 to $170 after all related costs ! From Company Statement: The Company's indicative modelling suggests that attractive plant economics exist for BTL plants incorporating the Company's technology producing renewable fuels. These indicative models show that the economics for a plant producing 1,400 barrels per day of renewable fuels from woody biomass are particularly favourable in the US. Based on current pricing and costs and the indicative modelling, the Directors believe that operational revenues approximating $265 per barrel could be achieved at such a plant, which is made up of around $75/barrel of fuel sales and around $190/barrel of US federal Renewable Fuel Standard credits (traded via Renewable Identification Numbers). The Directors believe that plants addressing the Californian market are expected to be eligible for around $33/barrel of Californian Low Carbon Fuel Standard credits, raising potential operational revenues on plants selling product into California to nearly $300 per barrel. Corresponding operational costs of just under $130/barrel are predicted by the Company, which includes: feedstock cost, capital expenditure, operating expenditure, plant shutdown and maintenance.
This could still have a lively finish today because I think some big orders are being worked, once clear it could easily move back to 17p level at close / open tomorrow.
DBH,in my opinion we are seeing a re-run of a few weeks ago when Hintze Cayman Fund bought near 10% off the company out the blue, the mm,s held it back while the transaction was enabled and I think same thing today is happening.I am expecting a holdings Rns shortly that will show they have increased IMO. The key thing about the news today is VLS business model is now validated and the new plant plans and large grants offered will now be moved forward quickly.VLS are the first company in the world to get these maximum credits, the significance is profit per barrel of $135 to $170 per barrel according to the company. The re-rate will start shortly IMVHO
DBH,great news this morning and it now puts VLS into serious play in this market,i think we will see some of the big holders compete for a bigger stake from here.I noticed in the pre-open today there was a 4.4m buy order at 16.6p which I think the mm,s have spent most of the day so far trying to fill,my guess is its Roman or Sir Micheal Hintze trying to get a few more percent before the market wakes up to this. This will be over 20p during the next week IMVHO
gige, the highways agency in the uk has a huge budget and an army of staff that are assigned for safety and survey work so I am convinced they will start using drone tech. And as such Aero may have a very lucrative new avenue here if they land those contracts. Have you seen the new kit on their twitter feed ? #Geocurve
In The Times today :-) https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/drones-arrive-to-reduce-road-closures-and-speed-up-traffic-surveys-szxndhkxm Drones arrive to reduce road closures and speed up traffic surveys A report by consultants PwC published last year said infrastructure was the largest potential market for commercial applications of drone technology. The report said applications of drone technology in transport projects saved money and time compared with surveys conducted by people.
callit, there are some pictures of the company,s new kit on their Geocurve twitter feed posted today, they are the only company in Europe to have this impressive kit and addon backpack. I am confident this will help them win valuable contracts on some the Uk,s largest infrastructure projects. #Geocurve
Bones, one of the things that attracted me here was the new management,if you do some research on them you will see they have an impressive record of business turnaround,s.Combine that with the market they have entered into here and the vast opportunities in front of them and I predict they will get some super growth in this company. Some very big names in the financial world are forecasting this sector to boom shortly :-)
bones,i like your ref to taking off :-) with a current market cap of just 3m in one of the forecasted hottest growth sectors I would say our new Board have every chance of getting this "flying" .The contract win the other day was just a taster,i think we could be landing quite a few with various large infrastructure projects, and maybe with the likes of The Highways Agency,Network Rail,BAA,various Water Companies to name a few. Trevor and Nigel are extremely well connected and can get our foot in the door in high levels of business, that is why I have a certain level of confidence here. This company is well off the radar of many folks but I predict that will soon change when the contracts roll in.As far as recovery stocks go this has all the ingredients and some IMVHO
I believe Strat Aero are the only uk company to have this new kit :-) and I understand they have developed their own in house software that can also work with it.Nice!
Yes in my opinion this company is a completely different proposition to what it was before under the previous management, and the timing is brilliant for the new board to exploit what is forecast to be a strong new uk growth area. The BSi standards about to be introduced into law will be the starting gun for a whole raft of new business on offer and in a very wide area of expertise. From its current 3m market cap there is a heck of a lot of potential upside on offer for shareholders and we could see some real momentum building. Another thing that is worth its weight in gold is the connections the new management have, they can certainly open doors and put Strat Aero in the right place to benefit.
Callit,i think this little company could have a bright future now with new decent management in place and they are in a very hot sector.Checkout this news item from a few days ago, lots of work up fro grabs! www.dronebelow.com/2018/03/02/new-drone-standards-will-spark-economic-revolution-uk/
Yes I think we might be getting some new contract news shortly IMVHO new management here are on the ball.
Some nice buys coming in,i wonder if we have some more contract news looming :-)
