Casa pipe down take your loss on the chin and move on.
I am living in the real world not the redit fairytale lane. If this redit gang can raise RR. By 1000% like they did GME believe you me I will be the happiest man alive and would retire the same day but it’s not going to happen.
Algarve123 is definitely casa feeling bitter as he lost his shirt on RR. Due to his weak stomach.
A group of spotty American teenagers won’t push the price up, hedge funds will put a stop to all of this in the coming weeks as they already have started the end of excessive buying on the likes of RH. The leverage these apps allows young kids with no clue of what they are buying is dangerous for the markets as a whole, death by 1000 cuts comes to mind.
Fundamentals of the business once flying hours return will drive the price up hopefully H2 2021.
Casa sold your holdings. I believe you bought at 135 ish? What’s ironic about this is before the RI you were talking this down to 32p scaring investors into selling at a loss, now you have talked yourself in it selling at a loss. O well you get what you deserve in life, I would give up at investing if I was you, you need a good stomach and the right attitude in this game clearly you have none.
They are both the same price using what metric? How can any two companies be the same price!?
Steph I don’t think you have factored in the dilution? 600 is very very optimistic don’t get me wrong if it gets there I will be the happiest man alive.
The only thing we are missing today is a call for nationalisation...... another red day tomorrow we should get that.
Steve72 - there is a big difference in materials and skill set of domestic builders compared to commercial builders. There is also a huge gulf in the quality and professionalism of the subcontractor working in each sector. I think it’s fair to say you haven’t worked in the construction industry and if you have that is frightening.
An article copied and pasted from 1971! I really have seen it all now.
32p.
A much more realistic guess (I dare say an educated guess using arithmetic rather than emotion, luck and sentiment).
Good luck with your investments although it’s sound like you don’t need it. Your out performing every hedge fund and expert on the planet. Maybe take arsenal on as a client?
Bulletdog, you don't know how much capital has made the 600K surely you need that to determine if 600K in 30 years is a good return or not?
If RR goes up by 100% over the next 4 years that's is a 25% return per annum, you will have massively out performed the markets by some way is that not a good return? holding a stock for two weeks max is more like gambling IMO, I don't have the time or resources to investigate then find a new stock every two weeks.
James, the answer to you question from my point of view is I cant time markets and see the stock market in years not months or in some cases days judging by this BB. I am not lucky enough to work in hours, days and weeks.
For all we know the share price could be 15% up next week or in fact 15% down ( I wouldn't sell at either point), it is not possible to time markets, IMO holding RR. for the next few years will return better profits than jumping in and out of various stocks on the hope of a short term rise.
If you after a quick gain your not only invested in the wrong stock but also the wrong sector. RR. share price will not rise until the effects of the vaccine are felt which I assume will be Spring at best. If you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen, the world is depressing enough at the minute with investors on this BB sulking when RR has a red day. I would ask yourself if investing is really for you, I would suggest not TBH.
Ignore the share price and use the market cap, the share price is a distraction that can swap and changed at the mercy of company (Stock splits, dilution etc). RR. Current market cap is very low for and engineering giant which operates in a very niche market. Yes it is loss making at present and faces head winds hence the current market cap. Hold and be rewarded.
Tesla, the biggest equity bubble seen since 1999....
Whitegate are you an inmate in broadmoor? Your not a well man, everything is doom and gloom and negative, poorly individual it seems.
Whitegate just had a read of all your dribble this morning, it was comical as usual I particularly like the call for nationalisation. Can you please give us all the detail of the £1billion cash burn per month (you keep saying this)? I can only go off the detail from the RNS which states a cash burn of £4.2billion for 2020, last time a checked that doesn't equal £1billion a month. I am not sure who to believe the board or Mr Whitegate55 hmmmmmmm.
I am not even engaging with a copy and paste artist. RR have raised £5 billion from the RI, extending a gov backed loan and bonds, they decided to not take up one bond offering for another £1 billion.
All of my “facts” are from the RNS.
Get your facts right before you decide to be a smart arse.
“Baseless joker”.......how old are you 15?
