Boris is coming..
i am out at these levels, cya 4p. I WILL BE BACK IN THEN... cant afford the loss. THE UPSIDE IS LOOKING GOOD.
your comments are slightly predicted and i see your vocabulary is getting better, did you spell check that?.
This is why I dont normally get involved in conversations although holding shares
i think people here are playing the 'game' and dont like talking straight.
The fact is, as per my original comment.
try selling your assets at what you think their worth.. you wont, so why try to embellish the argument that our assets are worth more than the company, so the share price should x pense rather than the current value...
I personally would like to get my money back with the share rising to were i bought, But if the market wont go there, then saying 'WE HAVE ASSETS WORTH MORE THAN THE COMPANY' wont get it there are contributes no meaningful argument to getting it there.
DifferentAngle.... yes your right in what you are saying now. i was commenting on your use of Asset value to drive the share price. It's wrong to think our assets are worth more than the value of the company, whether right or not. If that was used to increase share price/company value, that would reflect the price/value. but it doesn't, so why? well maybe, look at companies dissolving ( iam not saying Hur will) they sell assets of 95% of the time, they sell assets for value, not at what the asset is worth.
I appreciate that markets are different and some markets (second hand car market) you get more than the value, but as I an indicating 'our assets and their value TODAY can't necessarily be sold today at their value and should not make any difference on company or share price.
Different Angle....
Who would Buy the assets, Oil is doomed. i am not saying we wont need it, Just we wont need as many players and assets will be valued less. lets but them on ebay and see if they sell.
This downturn was expected. Run rabbit run rabbit, run, run ,run. They'll be back after today or Monday. Hopefully loosing out.
Strong Hold/buy
forgot to say.
I look at a lot of shares.. Purely as a share (No affection for HUR either way). It is undervalued, My opinion.
regards
I appreciate your input. Keep up the good work
Hello, first time post, please be gentle.
I have been watching the chat rooms now for 3 months and several times wanted to post something. Didn't quite know how, so replying. The posts here in particular, have made me LOL and the share price has made me cry....
I have been buying small amounts over the last 3 months, not because I know anything about the business , but because it is a very undervalued share.
I see over the next few years the oil industry, consolidating. It will naturally get smaller, as Oil runs out (No matter how many years that is, It will run out)
Now for Hurricane, I see, 3 ways it may go.
1. It gets merged/bought
2. It continues, drilling, working on the water issues and producing a reasonable profit. (If I were on the board) I would use that profit to buy back shares and consolidate my cash position)
3. HUR goes bust. packs in and goes home.
Option 3 isn't going to happen.. so It's all good, share price will adjust in time and by then, I will have quite a profit (Not as much as others, If you believe the numbers spoken)
Anyway thought I'd say Hi and give you my piece.
Thanks for making my time here memorable, laughed a lot. Keep it up.... and thanks for the learned ones who keep us all informed.
