Think there is large trading going on in the background which will probably be delay reported by a day or so. 30 mins ago I could buy 2m under 1.6, now I can’t even get 50k.

Itsawrap - Who knows how much cash we may get on farmout - let’s wait and see. But in any case I suspect by the time anything is drilled they will have authority for a placing from one of the 2(?) AGMs to come in next 8 months from the standard special resolutions. If the SP then runs to Aimshame’s 5p I would do a c£8m raise - shares will disappear quick in drill excitement, won’t hit us that hard if we strike as expected, and if we are v unlucky we are covered for all other development work and have enough capital to pursue another opportunity - it’s what I would do if I was CEO - despite the inevitable hate mail!

Back costs are nice and should cover expenses on Cloughton and maybe an Crosby Warren work over etc., but it’s the EG drill date that will unlock real value. At present progress (which is nothing from NE Lincs), I doubt the money for Wressle development will be needed before this is underway.

So this morning the MMs are delay reporting buys of over 400k, but putting through sells of 1m immediately - which suggests to me they would like to get hold of more shares.

Worth remembering that our advance over 3p was killed off during Serenity by one of the iis selling off hard - and now they are both gone!

Sounds very upbeat.

It’s always hard to put meaningful figures on that, but for years the SP has always moved very fast when it does, so it seems likely that there are several lths with healthy holdings!

And the price goes up - they seem to be holding it back on tiny amounts.

No idea what’s going on with trading this am - but it seems to be all but impossible to buy any quantity at any of the buy prices quoted. For some reason someone seems to have been keen to take the SP down this morning. New positive video from EG has just appeared so nothing has changed.

Think I’m holding back “delight” until I actually make some money here - I didn’t invest to stand still for 10 years! Should be plenty to come from EG pretty soon.

The SP was 1.15p when he was appointed CEO which seems the fairest point to judge his performance as CEO. Still allowing for inflation, he’s only just ahead, but it’s all going to be irrelevant on the signing of a farmout.

@Only. Yes suspect they will look to use Antler vehicle for any other EG licences - although the majors have been hoovering quite a few of these up recently, so not sure what’s left that’s attractive.

Worth noting that WH was very explicit in latest video about completing the current farmin on -EG08 before considering anything else.

If I remember right they came on board with the Serenity (I3e) placing - then smashed the Eog SP when it reached 3p.

Very glad to see the back of Polus - they always threatened to be a brake on the SP rise.

Thanks for confirming VL - the on line advice about AGMs seems confusing. A company is required to have an AGM at least every 15 months and within 6 months of their end of year. So if they have confirmed they are going ahead with Nov, then they will still have to have another AGM in May/June 2026. Could work in our favour for if they haven’t delivered enough by Nov, we can keep them on a short financial lease and review progress in the second AGM. Can’t see that our other projects will need more funds before then.

Will there be an AGM this November? With the change of annual reporting date to end December won’t the next AGM be in H1 2026?

No idea on the SP - but as an lth this seems like an EG Gov vote of confidence on the farmout - as well as WH saying on finalising the farmout “we continue to make good progress”.
