DG I'm assuming that the drop here is simply because a lot of people cant be bothered with International shares and so I do hope the correction is upwards. I just feel that even if the imbalance remains overnight the TSX will open down a little in expectation of sellers , couple that with the spread and I don't feel the day trade is worth the risk. That being said as an investor the SP has value and will hopefully do well , I agree ref Liquidity that can only be a good thing
Of course i am aware of that But any imbalance in the share price will be corrected ALTHOUGH That may be UP that may be DOWN That's the gamble Will be interesting to see what happens in Canada today
On expectation of AIM holders trying to sell straight away I'd proceed with a little caution
reminder to shareholders
Pre open at 0.03 CAND = 1.6 UK @current exchange rate A modest 30% rise would equal .04 = 2.16 Happy to move to the TSX if the appetite for the share is stronger there
You can also trade through TDW and ShareCentre
Reasonable chance of making a profit at these levels
Hi Dara Welcome , I'm a newbie here too , been researching for a few days and like asset , Nickel looks promising for 2016 can't imagine any fireworks but it seems a solid punt . The company has started to get a little bit of exposure which is always good , didn't expect a share price jump today though Haven't really though much about a takeover but in time who knows , See you're in another share I like , think we will do well
I've decided to invest here as a mid to long term bet on Nickel which hopefully will increase in price, several analysts think it will and the asset is certainly T1 potential http://www.proactiveinvestors.com/companies/news/124484/horizonte-minerals-plc-well-positioned-for-any-rise-in-nickel-124484.html
Dont intend to Just wanted to say to all those invested WELL DONE ! awesome result !
Given the quality of the proven asset I still think 6p would of been a bargain , My thoughts are that acuumulsting shares would continue to get more expensive up to the mark of 30% and then the mandatory offer for the remaining 70% would have to be ' at a fair premium ' , as AST had already touched 8p this could well of had to be in the region of 15p it does seem over very quickly I guess AST is a victim of its own massive share hike , I really feel that it would of been much fairer to all concerned both at AST and CAD for AST to have been suspended at the point of interest being expressed , I suppose the fact that it was just early talks made that non mandatory , but if suspension would of happened no PIs would of got hurt I think the statement at the bottom of the RNS regarding being able to make an offer later is just standard text and suspect that AST stock price will crash , this is not to belittle the excellent asset they have but more to do with emotional trading and mass panic AST started at .93 and May briefly get close to that again, the only good thing for them is that at least more pis know about the asset now , although I suspect many have not completed adequate research .
Director Buys 18 Million on open Market That's a sign of confidence ! When the portfolio starts to grow i would expect the share price to rise quite quickly
Hi Guys I'm in , the RNS today made up my mind And Steve ! not yet mate , I might want some more LOL
http://www.cityam.com/237661/cadogan-petroleum-confirms-highly-preliminary-approach-over-a-possible-tie-up-with-ascent-resources I've been researching AST over easter and it looks like an excellent asset , The key thing is that there are three routes to market. Obviously the pipeline is the best long term option but what is key is the methonal plant next door which has just come out of mothballs , the owners of that must be amost desperate to buy of AST and that means that the price should remain decent , coupled with revenue near term. money in the bank is ok but CAD need revenue I don't think AST will be cheap , 6p would be bargain , perhaps 10p beause of the extended revenue
}  Expected near term positive news flow •  Formal award of uk onshore permit •  Start of seismic work on Hardston Field •  Announcement of 2nd asset in UK or overseas I'm not currently invested here but have started to research the company , I'm seriously considering an investment before the announcement of a second asset which I would hope to be Moroccan Gas or Malaysian Oil Lots to think about :) Not to much research material available directly on the company of course but Management pedigree is good , Timing seems good .... hmmm
at 14:21 now worked through Plenty of buys going through L2 pretty even I think the share price will stabilise for a while yet before hopefully rising a bit before close
Well at least the fundraising here is done , Other HH stocks will prob do similar in the next few weeks/months. I think better its done now and then the rise after flow test will be more sustainable
The value of the sale of HH asset from Angus to Regency should be disregarded Angus get 29.9% of Regency in the deal with options to buy more (at discount) its effectively a RTO because Angus can take over Regency whenever they want now. Consider the HH asset transferred not sold .. No valuation can be made from this
Everyone ate the MXCP bb seem happy about the deal also :)
Thank you Shares123 Appreciate the honest comments I crack on with some research
