Kred, how do you short? Selling shares that were in your possession can hardly be counted as a short as no obligations to buy them back. It's rather profit taking from a long.

Just premonition. Negative cashflow here. It might be for a while but not forever.

Are you sure MET1 does not slide to bankruptcy?

What is their view on dividend this year?

Too many respectable companies made shorts here. They cannot be wrong.

Watching MET1 for a year. Tempted to invest here many times. One thing does not match my criteria to make the decision. I don't clearly understand their business model, - how they are going to to make profit? Apart of annual expenses, they invest to small unprofitable asserts which rather to support local activity. I would expect such actions from governments but not from private company. Most if not all will hardly return any revenue. Seems MET1 is not going to build any mine nor concentrating plant. What do I miss in their business model?

Is any reason SP dropped today?

Scaring how 4 heavy-weight shorters increased their positions in Feb. They cannot be wrong, can they?

Looking at volume today - £1.8M buys, shorters have not covered their butt yet. Anticipating 4.5M buys on fire this week.

Sell now for 163 and buy next week for 150 if you are long on BME. Should be easy.

Go to Operations/Kournard overview. They claim - "With a minimum approximately 85,000 tonnes of remaining recoverable copper at the end of 2024".

Kounrad extracts around 14kt per year. So right now it should be 85 - 14 =71kt left to mine.

Charlie, not really hard to value. I expect SP = 300 which would be fair value for exiting resources - 70kt copper that Kounrad still has to mine.

Too low volumes . Almost no trades. In fact more posts than trades per day.

According to agreement silver goes to third party. But it does not matter while copper is booming. Look at peers - ATYM and ANTO gained over 100% YTD. CAML has better fundamentals but only +20% yet. As SP hit 190 there will be no stops for grow. I expect around 300 should be possible soon.

SP pattern looks like head and shoulders. BME price will continue to fall this week.

The lower SP goes - the less shaky hands. It should be challenging for shorters to return 3% when volumes are low.

Poor performance here. Better sell. I am waiting for recovery since last year. Couldn't accept losses when it was rational. Now regret almost every day. Just sell MCG today, and buy more shares next week. Stupid feeling it's risky. But it's not.

Sell or buy? From one hand SP seems far from bottom, from other the fundamentals are not so bad as I thought. Waiting for 130s?
