Get them to refer it upwards.
Ask them what has happened to your rights?
They will have sold them.

They have a moral, ethical, and possible legal right to pay you the proceeds.
Any good broker would do that, irrespective of what the prospectus says.

If they won't play it decently, complain and threaten them with the Fin Onbudsman.

The prospectus says by doing nothing (which effectively is what you have done), then the rights will lapse and the holder will receive nothing.
That is what HSBC has told you.
However....
Most reasonable brokers (which hopefully includes HSBC), they will have sold your rights and will credit you with the proceeds. Which, will be around 50p per right.
Get onto them, and ask/tell them.
Don't just take the response from the spotty youth that answers the phone.

Yes, brokers do have a slightly differing way of dealing with this since it involves a currency conversion.
that precise conversion rate, is unknown until the due date.
It will approximate E1.185 : £1.
So, as has been said each right you wish to fully purchase will cost you approximately £1.83.
If you leave (say) £1.90 for each share in your broker account, you will be more than fine.
There are no charges at all, not even exchange conversion.
Your broker will deal with it all in £ sterling.

The added minor issue here, is that the RI is being undertaken in a foreign currency.
Nothing you need to do, other than instruct your broker with the option you wish to pursue, and have sufficient cash in your account with your broker.

Yep, i agree with all previous comments.
You have sold a stock (albeit the rights to a stock), thereby a fee is due.
The forthcoming purchase of the remaining shares via the rights left will NOT attract a fee.

As an aside, don't be too alarmed with the SP reduction this week.
It's not unusual during the rights process.
I expect it to recover over next few weeks.

What you are considering doing is known as a 'nil paid take-up'.
You sell enough rights, to take up the remaining rights, and thereby you do not put up any further capital.
You'll be selling roughly 2/3 of your rights to take up the remaining third. Roughly.
This is in line with the 10 for 21 offer.

This is a 4th option for you at the rights offer, and something several folks do.
No need for you to get involved, just instruct your broker to conclude such a transaction.
Not sure when they would undertake the transaction, but you will be credited with the appropriate number of shares, by the vesting date.

Should be showing a value (pre market opening) of 91.1p. Just sell them as you would any other line of stock.

Their value will move in line with market movements for main TUI stock.

Their value will always be full market value less c£1,83.

You need to do something by 26th Oct (ish) else they will just be removed, and you will receive nothing.

The same outfit as X-O, but here they charge £4 more.
They do have a good level of support here, and ore back-up than X-O.

So, back where we were now.
I still think the market doesn't like the specific appointment, although it was known that an appointment would be made.
I've written to IR for a brief update and funds usage since IPO.

I presume that, although an appointment was expected, this appointment is perceived as detrimental to the company being able to operate, as was anticipated.
