@jaytee - I had to do it via phone with HL, the Avacta Group (PB Offer) IPO was listed but couldn't trade electronically. It now shows as a pending invest order in my ISA account.

Did mine via HL, on the phone. The pending orders now show in my ISA account and my normal trading account. Just spoke with HL again, should know if it was successful later today.

TM you can place a bid via your broker, which means you can do this via your ISA.

Lol....lots of clueless people in here today. In the same way you can have a seemingly unjustified rise, you can have an unjustified fall, which is exactly what this is. The SP will correct itself but this is a long term hold, although some people who have probably never invested in the market before are expecting to play a one armed bandit.

Hi Bishop, I'm totally with you on that one and I've failed at trading this too many times to risk my entire holding so I only did it in small lots with less than 1/3 of my holding. Don't think I'll bother again though.

Also...we saw yesterday, several late printed trades that were very large after closing. With that in mind, looking at the order book and the live trades doesn't necessarily give you an accurate picture of the real world, the game is strongly biased in the market makers favour.

I sold several small lots on open, keeping it below 5000 shares per trade...less chance of a no trade and re-bought at a lower number, again in several small lots, we're only talking a few pence difference and ended up with an extra 2,147 shares for the same money, including charges.

MK, These are the 'depths' of the order book, basically the number of orders on each side, rather than the volume of orders.

WHO - 1 Billion cases of flu per year!! So, if you need to test when you get flu like symptoms that's 1 Billion tests required...in addition to the legitimate CV19 cases!

Just to add to that, as I've said before I see a massive spike in demand for testing when seasonal flu and the common cold season kicks off in the Autumn. The government advice will not have changed, if you have flu like symptoms self isolate until tested negative......just think about it...that is millions and millions of people!!!
