I don't think so. People already knew for a while. It's old news now. I believe this is just usual movement caused by the traders. Because TUI is an ideal trading share due to it's volatility. Big up and big down almost every day, it's enough for day traders to make a decent profit, if you can time it right.

Good to see it rebounds a bit. Hope that it will go back up to over £20 soon.

Sold this morning at 628.55, and just bought them all back at 621.58. This is the fourth time I sold and bought back, making myself an extra profit of about £1.5k. I also ended up with 108 extra shares (which is worth another £700). So, it's a risk worth taking. Now, I am waiting for my fifth disposal. 😁😁

Judging by the way how the SP moves, I don't think it will break the 630 resistance today with only 3 hours of trading time left. We may well have to wait until next year now. Let's hope that it can hold steady at this level, and gives it a firm base to start with in the new year.

Hey robleo, pyl and maybe today, I have a suggestion:

If you sell on the day before going ex-dividend, then buy on or after the ex-dividend day with the same money that you sold. The past record shows that LGEN always falls more the the dividend on the ex-dividend day. This way you will get more extra shares then reinvest your dividend. Also there is no need to wait for your dividend to arrive. Do you think that is a good (or even better) idea? Lol

Well of course, since the past performance cannot be always repeated, so this will only work if the SP will fall more than or equal to the dividend on the ex-dividend day (or afterwards). 😂😂😂

So near, yet so far, the SP was touching 627 at one point mid-morning, but started to retrace late in the afternoon. Let's see what the half day can do tomorrow then. If it can't get to 630, then we still have the whole 2024 ahead of us.
