As for the Tesla at the SM offices, they have had that for years and I assume its just about carbon footprint rather than any link to Tesla.

In 2014 I had many thoughts on where SM might go, but never did I imagine we would have a link to Google. In fact when I used Google back then it tended to take me to Sewing Machines.

So the $964bn (market cap) question could Google afford to buy SM?
