Chris and Robbie, Sensible posts.
There are placings and there are placings, anyone predicting a placing was predicting a "bad" placing, a dash for cash at a heavy discount, we all have the scars.
Not this time, cash is fine and well managed, trading RNS on 3rd Aug cash was 18% ahead of forecast. Paul has made the tough decisions, paycuts and redundancies, never easy but needed. He has said for a while he wanted to strengthen the investor base with a focus on the US, who could blame him, just read this board on the day of the L3harris MOU and there were more posts abour Viktor than L3harris.
So today is good news, why not improve the cash further, the dilution is a few pence per $1bn when we eventually have a takeover, no one will moan when it happens. The best bit will come next week when we know who it is, I'm excited to know.
Then we have a couple of MOU to close and VW and Toyota have yet to show their hand, also I listened to the Veoneer Q&A this evening it was all about Qualcomm which seems a huge opportunity for Veoneer and us, oh and they went public on the F150 .
No bad news here, the green blobs stopped when they realised mid morning.....
