Nigel has 10 current active directorships including NUOG. Being a non exec of another company is indeed useful for a CEO, but another nine is a different matter. There is no public record he resigned from Aero. He not even a director of MFDevCo, which is odd. One has to think about his focus. Did he attend the NUOG agm, no-one mentioned him in posts?

In the 2008 CPR , TRACS covered the situation fully and during the Husky days there was no mention of wax. It was first postulated in 2010 as a reason for the collapse in flow rate as wax accumulation around the well bore. A chemical soak was tried, but had little effect, suggesting misdiagnosis. We have numerous other explanations from crumbling dolomite to a lost tool in the hole whilch required milling out. The most recent explanation was a salt plug. Where did that come from? Probably the chemical soak. Wax and API 51 are inconsistent with each other. I will be a bit cautious here because I think I have worked with the chap in the interview in the past and if so he is a great subsea engineer. I think he was trying to downplay expectations based upon what PVF has told him. He did say that there were kit issues and it was no good repeating the same thing and expecting a different result. The flow test has clearly not started despite the twitter posts. I hope it comes good, and we will see what comes of Brazil. The problem with relying on RNS from company is they never tell you when something has gone wrong. Good news looks after itself. Bad news hides from view by obfuscation. Good evening. It's Friday night so it's worth taking stock of the week. Mike Hibbert's interview was the only piece of new information to appear and he said a strange thing. He said the crude oil in western NF was waxy. He dwelled on that point to assert that the oil from the PAP well had a high value because of this high paraffinic composition. Now I have read here a number of times that the oil is very light with a API gravity of 51. Those two things are inconsistent. High gravity numbers mean low wax numbers. They cannot both be correct. If Hibbert is correct, then there is a hitherto undisclosed production problem of wax treatment. This might require a downhole ESP, the very thing that Minty has refused to procure for years now, and might be needed. Also we know that there is significant gas/oil ratio because there is flare stack on the site and in previous production runs it has been alight and capable of being seen for miles around. There is a twitter user nearby who would be able to see any flaring and report it. So we can safely conclude that any testing has not commenced yet. That is why the SP has fallen today.

For gods sake Seadog, give it a rest. We have all seen the endless research you post. We want to see tne money not the hype.

The offshore licences in Brazil are dominated by major oil companies who can eat Minty for breakfast. Ask yourself what MFDVECO can bring to the party of Exxon. Minty has been going to Brazil for some time since the opening up of the onshore marginal fields, and that is where it lies. I am convinced that a typo error ended up in a RNS which has been circumspect ever since in the PR puff.

Mainshare I am sorry but I am being a bit obsequious here, but I do not believe the Brazil opportunity is as folk think from the RNS. I think it has been misrepresented, just my view, we shall see.

I believe something is going on in Brazil, but I also believe a recent RNS contained a factual error, which is not unusual for this company, and that has not been repeated or subsequently remedied. 6. Helvick and Dunmore are costly history, just like Fyne and Dandy. Contractual obligation delivered, but operator not interested in them. 7. If all these MFD opportunities are going to arrive like London buses, and the SP goes up each time, why risk your cash now? Wait until it's proven with bus number 1 and then invest with no risk.
