You ask the question about future funding before the end of May, which I understand, but this does honestly not concern me at all….. we were assured at the AGM that GCM had already had interest from parties wanting to take part in the placing and to me I’m really chilled about this fact… even if they did a fun raise on Tuesday when we start to trade again, at a discount it would add anything form about 10 to 20 million shares depending on how much they want to raise….. do you really think this is going to have that much overall effect to the SP as we move forward if we got the green light…. I don’t!

🤔 the end of May is 8 weeks away… that in my eyes is only a few weeks away, and by then depending on what news comes through, whether it’s from the Bangla press or from the company, the SP could / should be in a totally different place, and as I said earlier, 10, 15 or 20 million shares in issue really is not going to make that much difference imo if we get the green light 🤞

Disappointing end to the week if i am honest, especially after yesterdays gains, but hopefully some positive news in the Bangla press over the next few days ;)

As regards the future placing, it really depends on who does the placing as to where the SP would be best placed, because if its not Tang (which i believe to be the case) then he would want the SP to be higher to stop any further dilution of his holding, But either way, the most they can raise, I believe as per the resolution which was passed at the AGM, is another 1 million, which at today's SP even if discounted would be about 15 million shares, which in the big scheme of things is minuscule. ... just my opinion...

Afternoon TerryDactil, yes you correct, the company did say at the recent AGM that they would not be releasing an RNS when the proposal has been submitted to the government, because they would anticipate that any news should and would want to be released by either Nasrul Hamid or Hasina themselves......

Professional, I am posting FACTS, not miss-information as has been done in many posts this morning, purely to spread fear....

I think that you have hit the nail on the head redeyes, Thursdays is the last day of trading before what will seem like a very long Bank Holiday weekend where any sort of articles may appear in the Bangladesh press, it is going to be really interesting as to how different people see this now, we will see those that just want to trade and making their 10 / 20%, those that have made the gains that they have set for themselves, and those that are looking at the bigger picture, have done their research and understand what a monster this really has the potential of being…. I did not really expect to see today’s sort of rise that we had today until after the 6th April when ISA’s were topped up, but I guess people are seeing the importance of being in, rather than out at what could be the most important stage of GCM’s life…..

I know what position I am taking, but whatever your strategy, GL to all, and let’s hope that this really is our time to shine!!… 😉

Not that it matters, because even if it is a sell, someone has bought them, BUT i am not quite sure how they can say that this trade is "Unknown" because to me this is defiantly a buy .....
