I've always had the view that LBG is going 100% online, no, very few branches.

I also think it has been made into a lovely bundled package of capital, producing lots of income. Hence no acquisitions!

I would not be surprised at all if one of the big American banks made an attempt to take over or merge with LBG, say Goldman as an example.
