I'm sure the right thing will be done by the FCA and the courts for the retail investor, but hey, that's there job.. PPI was a learning curve for all concerned, I'm sure many lesson were leant with PPI and covid loans, yet another little time bomb sizzling in the back ground. I too are well loaded with LBG shares with not enough diversification, but that's the decision I made and the famous words are "we have a sell button"🤣🤣 the dividend is good and the eight wonder of the world is "compounding".. I sticking with LBG in my pension but will add some AIM stocks in from the dividend, that's my plan anyway, open to any constructive comments!

Chid, No offence taken, it was a general comment.

I do think it will be a big fight from the banks paying out compensation, They were done over with PPI spourous claims, I think this will take years to wash out and HMGov will allow it to take time to stop the ambulance chasers, Reeves has already instigated/highlighted a review into the compensation market in the UK as it's rife, I think LBG has more than enough capital and capital generation to ride this out, same as the other banks. Close bros and the other direct motor finance arms will take the most pain, business wise, just my thoughts!!

More branch closures, redundancies, more on line services, general cost cutting, less borrowing, higher rates on borrowing costs as lending risk would be higher, we will see, everyone is entitled an opinion..

I am going to ask on the Share soc webinar on the 3rd why with much less shares in the market, no PPI or anything of the size in sight, higher NIM, interest rates higher, structural hedge etc etc is the share price apprx 22% lower?
