Slug is on the other board telling anyone that will listen that there is a placing at 7p - 10p imminent (he deramps under 4 different profiles there). Crazy times. I'm happy buying at these levels, I was always jealous of you guys who had got in here in single figures.
Slug's too busy on the other board Jezzo, he has at least 4 profiles on the go there (only 2 here).
Maybe us retail investors are supposed to think this a lost cause. No big sell off from our big holders as far as I'm aware. More volume the last couple of days but still a tiny fraction of our 3billion shares traded recently. No serious buyers at this level for sure, but no big sellers either. Just a few months ago some very serious players were happy to buy in at 16p and nothing has fundamentally changed other than we are all fundamentally fed up and sick to the back teeth.
WI is a slippy one - I remember him in an interview way back, first time we'd peaked in the 40s and pulled back, saying that he was pretty done with Solg, that he'd made his money there. Of course he'd switched allegiances at the time (if I recall correctly, apologies if not). The question this morning is what did Canadian investors see yesterday that we don't this morning?
Was 17p at lowest on Wednesday, finished at 21p today. Interesting.
For the first time in a long time Bozi I agree with you 100%. Excellent post!
BNc I it seems to me that 10p was the price quoted by derampers for months - now that we finally reached it they seem to have run out of steam. It turned out to be quite achievable on low volumes with no institutions buying or selling. The larger question for the larger picture is - is Solg really only worth £300,000,000? Massive dilution has distorted the share price but the MCAP looks ridiculously low right now.
Have a nice holiday iDarwin mate.
Hope you win the Darwin Award 2023 whilst there, fingers crossed for you 🤞🤣
Let's face it Bozi, SXX was your classic AIM puff piece, driven along by retail investors feeding off dreams of something that was never going to happen. Even at its worst I doubt you could apply that description to Solg, however bad our management.
Hi Mr Jitters thought you'd left for good.
Back to punt MARU again?
The low volume suggests not Sid unless there is something going on behind the scenes. 30% knocked off the MCAP by just a few million quids trading over a few days.
The one upshot hopefully is that this will send a rocket up the backsides of the BoD - business as usual not cutting it, talk of an SR and going into production destroying shareholder value. Time to start earning their keep and pull a rabbit out of the hat.
I was invested in SXX back in its heyday Bozi. Absolutely chalk and cheese apart from a falling SP. SXX was flawed from the very start.
Yeah well I'm retiring you early too.
Filtered.
If your new shares are low risk high yield Quady why do you need to spend your time posting chat about them? That doesn't make sense. What a loon.
Quady if you thought the company was really going in the direction you want it, you'd be buying too but you're not.
Hopefully there is no one on the board who is as daft and naive as you. We need to ditch the SR talk and going into production fantasy completely now.
Addicknt what must he have been worth when he decided it was a clever thing to tell the big boys that we can paddle our own canoe. A true Ratner moment, and he has paid the price, but that's all in the past and I'm glad this morning we still have him and Irwin with dogs in this fight.
You've hit the nail on the head Quady in your own way.
All this talk of a strategic review and going into production are precisely what has destroyed the share price.
At least one person in this board is happy.
I'll be adding at these levels too if I can - always wanted to join you long termers who were in at under 10p.
If we continue to crash then the trolls are welcome to laugh at my losses - you can always tell who is really invested and who isn't at times like these. They can't help themselves.
Darren Solg has always managed to produce extremes - we didn't really belong up at 45p when we were flying and we certainly dont belong down at 10p giving an MCAP of £300million when you remember that some very shrewd investors paid 16p for a placing only months ago. They probably did more homework than the retail investors currently running for the hills.
