Jwallows has suggested it is because the release of funds is a condition of a Nasdaq listing.
So the money is agreed and will be released post merger.
They may be hints, tips and rumours but they can’t be ignored.

I presume Jwallows is stateside ( heading to the diner for lunch) his views from a different perspective could be valuable.

I in the past have been sucked into the Porky debate, feeding his ego by asking his intentions.
It is clear he is never going to explain his obsession with Valirx, probably doesn’t understand it himself.
I now am much more interested in getting back on track to discuss the exciting prospects for Valirx and the recent merger proposal, would like to hear people’s thoughts on progress.

Sorry fat fingers Q and A
Valirx just tweeted, reinforcing the Q and Q
Good post Old Baldy the thoughts of many of us!
You say that you are here to save investors from losing money due to ramping of Valirx shares, but how many people have sold over the last few months and now lost a potential gain because they have listened to your torrent of negativity?
You are clearly deeply invested in Valirx not in monetary form but certainly emotionally.
Fair point Porky, are you then saying they won’t get a fundraise?
Are you saying support won’t be forthcoming, I haven’t actually heard you say that so far, is that your new angle, are you saying Valirx are heading for bankruptcy, I thought you were scaremongering with a heavily diluted placing, is that not what you were saying, is your new prophecy a bankrupt Valirx?
My message said that I didn’t believe they would go bust but I would be interested to hear your new twist.
I read every post from Porky, to be fair I only need read every one in 50 because they all say the same thing, ( I could say the same for pm too.)
There is a risk of dilution if they have to raise before 201 deal completes.
But I do agree with pm on one thing, there is potential for a greater return than loss.
I don’t think Val are going to go bust any time soon and I’m becoming increasingly more confident that 201 will actually happen, with all the other potential news flow I’m comfortable that the share price will be higher this time next year than it is now.
That is why I’m happy to hold, I would rather be in than sitting on the sidelines worried about what might happen.
The share price was 30-40 for six months after the TheormRx deal was announced and that was on the potential of the deal going through not a completed deal, it only fell when there was delay after delay.
Since then there has been some dilution but we also have more irons in the fire so on balance the potential is good.
Happy to hold.
Porky
I seem to remember, on many occasions you have insisted that a deal with TheormRx is dead in the water and will definitely never happen, have you changed your opinion or are you standing by your word?
Sonnets
There is a sell button, if you are feeling so negative about an investment you have an option.
Tomorrow would be a good opportunity for you, I have a feeling there will be plenty willing to buy from you.
There was a point in the Q and A where Suzy referred to TheormRx and 201, she was talking about what would be happening once the deal had gone through.
It did appear that she thought it was a done deal.
But being a “preferred bidder” presumably means the contract couldn’t be included in the figures back in August, pipeline etc.
So being confirmed is important.
I think he was saying that the confirmation was due soon, which is true.
