Monkey Jack I agree with you . But I can see a lot of people will have overloaded themselves with big mortgages and when the rates start moving north and house prices start pulling back , the consequence will be people having to give the keys back. It won’t effect me as I’m mortgage free and getting near my use by date. :-).

Feel sorry for anyone with big mortgages out there. This may well be the beginning of rises over the coming year. I have barc and Lloyds . Both will do well Lloyds more so as they are the biggest mortgage lenders in the U.K . Barc I have for their overseas investments.

Hopefully the rate will stay put if it does Lloyds are on my big add list after the inevitable drop in the sp (Lloyds that is. ) Dark will do very well as I’ve said previously in the long term . In the short term unless they get a big contract it will be a bit of a yo- yo to my thinking . As for a takeover I cannot see the government sanctioning one. To much involvement with the doughnut.

I’m buying more tomorrow as I personally reckon the sp has gone as far as it can and I am pretty sure the sp one year from now will have doubled even if the next interim shows a bigger loss.

Brilliant news. I suspect people will be more positive about taking this jab when approved. As psychologically they will feel more comfortable because its plant based. I can see both companies GSKs. doing very well now after the split. Yea of little faith become believers in GSK. :-).

What a beautiful graph . And a decent amount of trades. I think the sp may start moving up next week. Assuming no general market correction.

The sp since 25 October has dropped on relatively low trades.

My tiny brain tells me this is a massive buy opportunity think on Nov 30 the big buys thought they were at the bottom but it’s gone a bit lower.

Denby69, agree it the fear in the background about covid in my view GSK will do well and expect the sp to shoot up just before the split. But yes it should be trading at 1600 , I’m staying put till after the split as I recon the sp of both new companies will be far better than 1800> Knew I should of played it long with Abcam. Who’s an idiot then, I am . :-).

Not a month has passed and the footsie has dropped about 200 pts so I would not get to het up about dark they will not go bust and it’s obvious to me anyhow the sp will go up . But for the short term players this is not the time to try making a quick quid trading dark. If ML were to get sent over the pond the sp will drop so what it will go up later. Patience is needed . As the fund managers like to point out its not timing the market but time in it. Which with funds I disagree with as they are just interested in getting their tailenders. It just a bit safer dealing in funds than shares .
I’ve cashed in about 70% of funds and shares and will wait till we see we’re we are heading over the next few months and then fill my boots hopefully .

At the moment. But the orders that will eventuate from the rest of the world will . GSK are now on the up as the split gets nearer. Everybody moans when the sp drops, everybody smiles when the sp rises. Me I’m just taking my divs and am happy as it’s a great company.

Chances it may not be but investors may well think they are getting a bargain to day and next week another crash happens this is what happens not trying to dish out doom and gloom but be careful all don’t make any large buys make small ones and play it safe. Bet that cheered you all up. :-).

I’m sitting tight one day dark will do well just ups and downs at the moment. One thing I will point out bank shares are down a good bit . And we all know banks make money so a good bet in these turbulent times , seas getting rough again. :-).
