Sadly Redbeard is right in that this is going to be a money pit for the next 5 years at least. There are no early returns to be had as this is right at the start of the project. Little to no infrastructure or local expertise available. On the good side it is a massive yet empty country so there should not be too many problems with permits once you get past the politicians. It will certainly provide a backstop for various people in the company to keep making money.

Another thought is maybe Ashley thinks 88e are going to get bought out and he needs something else to keep 88e alive. That's pure speculation on my part so don't take it seriously.

When you have 22bn shares issued I would have thought it more important to be focused on Hickory 1 than heading off to Africa which always without fail comes with Govt led problems.

Thats only one side of the story Jim, presumably according to your thoughts they also pumped from 30p to that 140p gaining a whole lot of money for others. No need to pump this share the details are available for all to see including lots of reports from independent companies who do not risk their reputations by putting out lies, unlike you.

Ted Aim investing seems to be all about quick money. If there is not a lot going on in a company the traders all depart for elsewhere in the hope of a gaining a few quid. So news is the main driver and at the moment there is not much of it for PANR. Lack of funds looks to have put the end to any thoughts for a winter drill (which is a mistake IMO) so then we are left with next summer, so the SP will drift.

The shorters can also see this and will do their best to push the SP even further down. Despite the dilution I would have liked to see them raise some money for a drill this winter as there is still lots to learn about our oil out in the western part of our land. Come March next year it will be two years since we did some work on our billion barrel find, so realistically it will be in 2025 before we get another go. Its taking too long in my books.

I wish they had taken the offer of a billion $ that they were offered two years ago for supposedly a relatively small part of the company. Hindsight is easy but where would we be now!

That court case may well have been the reason for the length of time it's taken to get this JV up and running. With that running in the background it may well have been enough for the potential partner to say hang on we will wait and see the result of this court case before we sign up. Hopefully we will get news before Xmas.

What a load of nonsense today. I was not expecting a name today, but regardless even if I was who the hell cares at this stage if the name of a NED does not arrive. With all the nonsense on here today it has helped create panic amongst shareholders and we have lost the nice rise we had yesterday. Seriously guys and girls we know the comms from the company are pants so lets try not to kick off when we don't get the expected, it just gives further ammunition to those who are trading/shorting.

They have a billion barrel find on their land.

They are in discussions with a large oil company for a JV (this has been going on a long time)

They have just put in some new infrastructure to help increase oil production on their other oil field, but we are still waiting to see the results of this in oil production.

Finances are a mess but not a disaster (fully funded to end Q1 next year).

Huge potential for carbon storage which could be worth more than the billion barrel field.

If you look at previous history of their drilling efforts then you should run a mile at the silence and what is another delay. Previous history will also tell you that they will look after their big investors first. I sincerely hope I am wrong as it's a new CEO but my gut feeling is deja view. Run!

If there is a big buy announced at the end of the day at a cheap price, then they are playing there games again.

It really annoys me when companies do this. I do not buy shares and give them money so that they can lend my money to company executives to exercise their warrants so they can make an easy profit at no doubt the expense of the SP at some time. Should be illegal.

Tony for those just invested for short term gains and with no real knowledge of what the company is up too I suspect you are right, if you haven't read the previous RNS and understood it then yes the flow rates do not good, despite the fact they are excellent. More of a concern I suspect is lack of detail for the short term, longer term is spelt out but few on AIM are interested in waiting years and therefor will have jumped to the next exciting thing.. A plan of action for this winter is key to get people interested again. If we just sit then we will drift further down. The company will know this and will hopefully give us something later today.

Was hoping for better than this but I kinda expected this reaction with the sell on news crowd. Key to moving forward now is news on activities during the winter, the market needs to see something happening on the ground. JV or cash raise I don’t really care but we need something as we wait for production in a couple of years time. As we can only get to Theta West in the winter then it’s time to get back out there and prove up the monster. Let’s not waste another winter leaving Theta sitting there.

Anyone for cricket they told us quite clearly that they were going to restrict the flow rates, surprised as a supposed holder you did not know that. Then you dont seem to know there is a new team in place which has made an enormous difference. Then you try and make out they have something to hide and will not want a partner. Suggests to me you are not a holder.

Now we have some real good news to fire out hopefully we will get JV news in the not too distant future. With the aim of drilling 3 initial wells that could be producing 7500 barrels of liquids a day that’s going to be worth over half a million dollars a day it will enable us to raise cash and to drill lots of wells each year, this really is a game changer and really just the start. The big field of 1Bn barrels is still to come.

Need news now on what we are going to be doing this winter, otherwise this SP will stagnate.

What a difference David Hobbs has made to the company, worth every penny and I just wish he had been involved from the start.

James it’s piddling down in the South but this news will keep it a nice day.

Will be very interesting to hear the oil experts eg older and wiser views on the results. Hopefully Mangrove and the other tw.ts go up in smoke in the next few days.
