Yes, but he says contractors in his first message regarding sales (note: the 2D seismologists were contractors too). He never states drilling in there.

In subsequent message he/she says about the drillers not being ready.

I think you have conflated the 2 as being the 2D and drillers are the same shares. That’s not how I read the posts.

It was the 2D seismic contractor who was paid partly in shares.

The drilling contractor has opted to take shares for the 3rd and/or 4th drill in shares.

Any selling so far cannot be from the driller - they won ‘t have the shares yet.

I’m in a similar situation too you - but around 50% more invested here. I know it’s a risky punt, but I’m incredibly relaxed about it. The next few months will be exciting. I’ll need a drink - either way haha

Seems like our FAR train is of the typical British rail standard.

Maybe it’s been cancelled due to:
Snow
Rain
Too hot
Too cold
Too many leaves
Or just because the driver doen’t give a f***.

I guess there are so many unknowns right now, it's hard to put a de-risked value on it.
We don't know the market price (as you say - deal-by-deal basis, but we can be sure the $280 is low).
We also don't know the concentration levels 4, 7, 10%.
We don't know how many (if any) drills from the four will be successful.

What we do know though is that if one drill is successful, then the de-risked value will be in excess of £1 and highly likely to be in excess of £2 (just my opinion of course).

The next 3 months are going to be exciting that's for sure.

Ref SHG. Yuri seemed quite excited about the potential and the other guys were talking in very good terms about making great returns for the shareholders. I have some more funds coming free soon and SHG will be on my shopping list that's for sure.

I have some cash still waiting to invest. Torn between adding more to HE1 to then use that to de-risk a little when/if the price spikes during the drilling phase, or to add to RBW, or start on SHG. I'll check out PRE - thanks. So many choices - not enough funds :).

Maybe a dumb question, but what do FA/TA stand for? I assume Financial Analysis and Technical Analysis.

You're in at a lower average than me then lol. My average is 34.31, but I bought my initial tranche about 38/39 from memory. Been averaging down since then.

RBW is cheap at the moment (again IMO). Look up their latest youtube presentation to see the potential there.

Just to clarify, I think it can multi-bag, but not to the same multiples as HE1.

Just back from the gym. I saw your post on HE1 board and was going to reply.

Yes, I have a substantial amount invested here too. There's a lot waiting to fall into place and this could all happen fairly soon.

Sir Mick will be coming on-board as Chairman https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mick_Davis and the contacts/connections he has will transform this. I don't feel it has the multi-bag potential of HE1, but there are less risks here. This will (IMO) rise quite quickly at some point this year, but who knows when.

Another one I'm in if you want to check-out is RBW. Looks an exciting prospect.
Lastly, Shanta (SHG) I've just started researching and looks like another medium-term growth company (also in Tanzania plus Kenya).

I know that Mr Spacetomato is in them too as I've seen his posts on those boards.

I think who thinks this is just a simple case of choosing to take the shares and cash them in NOW doesn't understand business.

HE1 would NOT say to the drilling contractor "Do you want your $??k in cash or shares at a reduced rate" after the work was done.

Also, they wouldn't say to the contractor "At the end of the survey, we'll agree to pay you the full market price of $??k in cash or you can choose shares at a discounted rate".

I would assume that if the contractor had that option, then the price of the survey was discounted. HE1 would then benefit from a reduced absolute cost and the contractor takes a lower guaranteed fee available in cash, or the possibility of shares at an agreed rate instead, with the possibility that these have increased.

It still implies confidence in the project.

I can’t think of any other reason for the contractor to do that unless they were very confident (not certain of course), that HE1 are going to be successful at some point and the value of shares would greatly exceed the amount due.

So, you've been on LSE for 20 months and mode 36 posts in total in that time.

May I politely suggest that, if you really want to lean about the company, you watch more of the videos (available on YouTube) and read some of the threads over the last few weeks with excellent analysis by the likes of TrekMadone, Mr Spacetomato, deepbluediver, dai2belts,seismicprofessor (I think) and others where they have reviewed the geology, discussed the rock/sediment and the potential for traps/seals. There's been serious, intelligent discussion which has questioned the risks and everything points to a very optimistic outcome here.

So do some proper research, otherwise your comments are at best, irrelevant and at worst, just a poor effort to try to run a stock down as you'd prefer to get in at lower prices.

75% of your investment portfolio is in HE1. You have 23. 47 .for 63k. That's a HUGE sum of £14,781. That would imply an investment portfolio of (here's the drum-roll) £19,714. I am in awe of your career success as an ex investment banker.

All I can assume is that you were solely responsible for the financial crash in 2007 with your ineptitude then and you've been paying them back since then.

To put your "investment" in perspective , I have made numerous top-ups to my HE1 holdings, each one is in excess of your total.
