Sorry but this is not our test. The instructions state that fresh saliva can be stored in a fridge for up to 3 days. Further on it mentions a LAMP test. Seems most likely to be Optigene so not a rival to Avacta's LFT.

Not too sure: all the capex adds value to the asset, things a new owner would have had to buy anyway. This just shows that EUA are willing to mine it ourselves thereby strengthening our hand in negotiations.

All I meant was that the RNS could come at anytime of the day. I feel that the longer this goes on the better the deal.

Just a guess but these tests could be the Optigene tests which split DNA in saliva and take about 20 minutes. They also need a small machine in a lab.

Yes Captain I'll do my best. Can't promise anything but I'm really hoping to get my hands on one or at least get a photo or description. Also looking for positive confirmation of manufactuer/supplier etc.
Trouble is, it seems to me that at least one of the volunteers needs to be positive in order to confirm it works. However, estimates seem that 50% of C19 infected people are asymptomatic. Be great if the test found a few of these.

My local hospital yesterday sent out a staff bulletin. It has been selected as one of four sites to participate in a trial of a new saliva test. Volunteers have to use the saliva test every three days and every seven days have the standard throat and nasal swab. The trial starts on September 1st and ends on September 21st.

I feel the same but hopefully patience is key. I hope I look back at the end of the year and think 'well that was good wasn't it'.
I think that I'm in a couple of really good places and it looks like they both might come to fruition at about the same time. I keep thinking 'any day now!'
Obviously I am a bit impatient but I just try and look a little further ahead.
