RE: Reflecting on last week30 Jan 2021 11:09
Good morning all, so nice to see lots of hugging and making up. I was amazed at how some people turned so nasty so quickly, bit of a learning curve for me.
I'm fortunate here, as I've said before I'm only here from a tip from my guardian angel and included in the tip was 'only put in what you can afford to lose'. Great advice me thinks.
When I read that some have the vast majority of their pension in AIM I do wonder how wise that is. Sometimes posters need the money for other things or appear to borrow money to invest, all seems very risky to me. I realise that I am quite fortunate that I have 2 pension pots, 1,a final salary the other in the usual spread of indexs etc.
Since the recent RNS about multiple interested parties I have been very relaxed and positive about our prospects . On paper I don't have as much profit as I had about a month ago but that's ok, I'm still in profit and it's not until the sale that I'll know how much I'll have. I still believe it's going to be really big (or biblical!) as EUA have all the cards and the time. As we all know - it's in the ground, it ain't going anywhere and it's appreciating all the time.
I do have a few more spare quid but my ISA is full at the moment. If the deal isn't done by April then I'll have a good opportunity to top up..
In a bit of spare time I've been watching secrets of a market maker on YouTube. Fascinating, I now wonder whether some of the posters who pop in and out of this bb are who they make out.
Still lovin' the camaraderie here and some of the more empassioned posts make me laugh, although I do understand how it must be easy to get a bit emotional when you have so much riding on it.
Keep up the good work everyone. And really heartfelt good wishes to all genuine investors however long you've been here.
Steve
