PS ex dividend 27/04. So a month away. Unless we have anymore shocks I would say 280> day before.l

Only companies with the ability to be more certain of their income do quarterly dividends.
REITS and investment trusts (particularly those with dividend reserves).
Very unlikely that legal and general would even consider it.
For me legal and general is an excellent trading share (if you want to take the risk). Because of the twice a year payment and the much larger final dividend.

Good point, take more out of sipp to put into isa with out paying tax.
Bad point it takes a long time to benefit from that 6%. A helluva a long time and I have a fair amount outside of both isa and sipp. I suspect I would end paying extra income tax and capital gains due to the extra investment.

I am hoping for share price to fall further. I will be a buyer in my ISA and possibly in my sipp.

Of late in the UK legal and general there preferences appear to be science parks and renting homes.
A fall in value makes little difference to them as they are long term holds to pay pensions. The income is what counts.
I have no idea what they own in the US but I assume the assets to pay pensions must be in the US otherwise there would be an FX risk.

Zeebo I am sure banks lend commercial property. I doubt legal and general do.

Note the neo brockers will charge you fx fees for buying. HL doesn't because they are on the uk market.
FX fees for dividends but you can elect to have them in sterling. Not sure how if the broker is holding your shares but Hargreaves Lansdown said they would ask if my dividends can be paid in sterling avoiding Hargreaves fees.

Significant increase in dividends from BioPharma Credit and riverstone Credit Opportunities. IE they to are capturing the increase in interest rates. I assume vsl will have to increase its dividend.
Big problem is the unlisted shares and I think the market has realised it.
The company needs to explain the mechanism for selling them.
I think we MAY have seen the bottom of the market for fintech valuations. So a possible increase in NAV.
I am gambling by continuing to buy.
I have not seen any Significant move in the share price of riverstone Credit Opportunities or BioPharma despite there increase in dividends.
BioPharma is on a 6% discount. Large company considered low risk (matter of opinion)
Riverstone Credit Opportunities very small company, I don't consider their loans to be more risky. 100 million company on 20% discount if any company is likely to go into wind down it is Riverstone. Doesn't own shares just straight forward loans. Roughly 2 years duration.

Price continues to fall nav continues to rise. Buying more.
