Spike how many auto stops will have been triggered today with a 70/75% drop...with the market gap this morning the stops set at 10% won't have been triggered at 10% etc

Spike - perhaps Potter thinks all is going well as all ducks lined up but then when lots of time as been wasted which larger companies can do (hence bullying) and the extra month is for delay tactics so BPC is anticipating the deal, waiting with baited breath, then low ball offer arrives. And BPC reject as offer is an insult. IMHO

Spike MMs gap down the stock on open and people panic sell because they don't want to lose more and thus encourages a spiral of more selling and people buy - either way the investment case changes as they digest news. You really don't expect MMs to drop price and no-one panic sells and no stops triggered do you?

I agree Monopoly I mean I wouldn't be surprised if this recovered at least 50% of losses next week as buyers did seem to be loading up shares didn't they? It didn't seem to be the typical bloodbath selloff. More a MMs orchestrated share price gap down....and gaps have to be filled. Ultimately, it as an outsider who isn't even invested here I think MMs have played a blinder off the negative sentiment and made a mint with the trading. But it has been just that - trading. There have been more buys than sells. If I was invested here I'd hold and average down I wouldn't sell at a loss because this looks overdone. Fair play to BPC if they're decided not to be bullied by a huge company. If that is what has happened. And talks of 1p - I doubt it but who knows. More likely to correct to 3p or 4p+ next week IMHO By the way I have no spare capital at the moment ir would invest here at these prices. Will it recover to pre-exclusivity prices. I doubt it because the fact that the exclusivity agreement was put in place in the first place shows promise. The company is free to talk to others now and why shouldn't they be of equal of greater calibre? All IMHO GLA DYOR

I mean how many times have you seen MMs pick up shares cheap when they drive prices fown following a RNS only to see the price tsken back up recovering much of the gains and selling those same shares much, much higher. Typical of AIM casino.

Monopoly that statement is ambiguous and it makes no sense why they would spend at least 4 months and a least a cool million if they weren't interested in the offering. It is just nonsensical. They didn't suddenly find something they didn't like after all that time...except for the PRICE. BPC didn't like Major's low ball offer so they asked them to "call it a day" with that RNS whilst also driving the share price down so whoever can pick up shares cheap IMHO

Don't you think the interested party would have walked away sooner than 4 months of they weren't happy. It's BPC that wasn't happy with the deal IMHO

Maltloaf I agree something fishy here. I wouldn't be surprised if this drop has been orchestarted. A positive RNS next week and a big recovery from Tuesday seeing this over 3p? By the way IXM not invested here and just trying to give a balanced view here. I've seen something similar with AST where there was a big drop followed by a recovery.

I smell a rat with this RNS. There's a lot of speculation about who walked away from the deal? Why would the interested party have paid 4 payments over 4 months then walked away. Don't you think it's more likely that the deal wasn't right and the interested party put in a low ball offer that BPC wasn't interested in so BPC walked away? It made me think of AST a few weeks ago with a negatively worded RNS on the Monday then a positive RNS 2 days later. Price plummeting then recovering..i see a recovery here next week IMHO DYOR

Gerry also with BPC I know it's a different set of circumstances to AST, but I can't help but thinking this could be similar to the Black Monday AST RNS scenario - as some would argue it was worded in way as to instil fear etc? I think BPC would certainly got on this weekend's Daily Mail AIm fallers chart.

Hi Gerry yes I fascinated why some had 6 or 7 bagged their money and not taken profits or top sliced. Yes I agree piped piper must have got caught out this time. I would have thought there would be lots of rampers and derampers working the boards this weekend.
