I have been looking round the old internet tonight, and if it is power stations in Pakistan they are investing in, could the company in question be K-Energy? Christopher McAuliffe and Jacqueline Lim are both XPL directors and founding members of Sprint Capital. (http://xxx.xplorerplc.co.uk/PLC-information.htm) Sprint capital (among others) are major equity contributors to a power plant coal conversion in Pakistan, through an entity called Bright Eagle Enterprises Group (BEEGIL). The plant in question is owned by K-Electric (Karachi Energy) and is being leased to K-Energy. The power produced (420MW) will then be sold back to K-Electric. I will be holding also. I strongly believe that the team is trying to get the RTO done before the christmas break.

Pretty sure the RTO equity finance was priced at 50p a share (with pre RTO CD at 40p), according to the original imara pdf. £1 placing is speculative at present. The RTO will place Kenya and Morocco, Imara's current explorational assets, under XPL. But rough maths puts XPL at around 47p a share post RTO. It's my guess that the 8500bpd trump card will be the asset that really pushes the sp north. Please correct me if I'm off here. P.S. if anyone wants the PDF that stated XPL as the purchaser of Imara, pm me. Will send in the morning. My eyelids are getting heavy!

Just had another look through the Imara presentation. Sept 2014 is the end of the initial exploration period for the Kenyan block L2. Imara: Morroco - environmental impact assesment due next month Kenya - 2d seismic results due soon.

Its very frustrating I agree. The extended 'shortly' is killing my investment plans for this month! But, I am also quite excited by the potential here. At least there has been some board activity!

One thing I did notice, the PDF presentation has changed its title from June to July (I'm sure some info has changed, but can't find what!) hence the web address change. It still states end of July as completion of RTO. If this time was slipping, would they not change the information on the PDF accordingly while they had it down?

Don't think there was a reference to a 47p share price in the PDF. That (the SP estimate) was posted on this board, as a rough calc by someone, using the shares table on the PDF (which shows CD and equity financing prices). I do not think the 8500 bpd asset was included in the 47p estimate, which was simply a post RTO calc. DYOR Etc. Sorry for so many posts, keep hitting the button, and then remembering what I was going to write about!

Ta! I agree. I was reading into previous Sprint fund raisers recently, one that caught my eye was a US$36m injection into an aussie coal miner at an 86% premium. If they can work some of that for XPL, I will be very happy!
