Is anyone elses LSE saying 2 RNS, but only one showing?
(.375/2.7)x100=13.89% using figures posted on advfn at the time.
Yield = (dividend/sp)x100
Though I imagine that % will be reduced by the time the deal goes through, and the share has risen to dizzying new heights! (I hope!)
Surely the humane thing to do is let it die...
Just received a letter from my broker informing me that there is a proposed strike off of the company, and that the shares have been removed by the registrar. That’s the end of that then. ****s.
What makes you think Salinbas will be sold Tracylied?
I have 30,822 & 17,858. Bought at various points along the way. Basically XPL were due to RTO a company called Imara Energy, who owned two oil and gas assets in Africa. The shares were suspended when the company began the process, but shortly after the price of oil tanked hard. We have been in suspension ever since. The company apparently looked at other assets, power stations in Pakistan, a bus company, but to no avail. I can remember reading a tweet by Max Keiser, an associate of John Roddison saying how XPL holders would be having a bad xmas. This was just before the suspension I think. It seems like the bad xmas hasn't ended just yet!

the sp did this before the last rns didn't it, dropped 5% the day before. wishful thinking i know!
...time for the Final Results RNS. I wonder what the chairmans statement will be this year!! "The Board expects to make further announcements shortly on the progress of the Proposed Acquisition."
Add mine. Just shy of 50k. XPL has been my biggest mistake so far. I'm still hoping for a happy ending...
It's a UT trade...
NM.
Imara Energy, the previously suspected RTO target, had an interest in the boujdour permit off of the western saharan coast. This is the only Moroccan asset I have read about in the past with any relation to XPL. From a previous post: Offshore Morocco – Agreement to acquire a 36.75% WI in the Boujdour permit (25% WI to ONHYM and 38.25% to Glencore). Only block remaining in Southern Morocco not controlled by a Major; Cairn energy recently had a duster in their exploration, and the area is in dispute at the moment as it is under occupation. There was also the mysterious 8500bpd producer that no one knew anything about...so still guessing really...
Same hopes! I'm over exposed here. kinda glad that they are resuming the original targets, if that is the case, then the majority of the leg work is already done. The oil recovery is promising, but will it push further? Either way, we need answers soon. The lack of communication is causing no end of worry to all party's involved, apart from the bod of course! fingers crossed. GLA!
...about XPL's rumoured interest in Pakistani power plants. Nepra have finally granted a license (for the conversion of local power stations to run on coal) to K-energy. (look at my previous posts for the tedious links to XPL!) (if I'm right, you owe me a pint! If I'm wrong, I owe you nothing!!!)
It will be the fundraiser I guess?
As long as its not a delisting RNS!! I'm getting twitchier and twitchier with this holding.
JackSht, would changing aim from Imara energy to buses/power stations not cause a delay of a few months while papers are shuffled?
Chris used to be co-heads of Citibanks industrials group Asia Pacific, along side Shaheryar Chishty. Shaheryar Chishty is executive director of BEEGIL as well as CEO of K-Energy, and has made comments about the power plant coal conversions in a few online news articles. One spanner in the works is NEPRAs holding up of conversion approval.
K-Energy would essentially be an IPP (Independent Power Producer) for Pakistan such as HUBC listed in Luxembourg. BTW, replace the xxx in the links with www! Can't seem to edit my post!
