The Yanks have said for a very long time that their trading figures were a pack of lies so why not now when it affects the rest of the world - it's all about the blame game now, Yanks and Chinese blaming each other now. There is going to be a large loss of life now and the rest of the world will want a head on a platter when it is all over.
