Hi Anton, just for clarity... I'm not trying to imply nor convince folk that should Kenya not happen tullow will not get compensated after going through the courts etc etc. Simply that there could be some debate on what would be the likely outcome. Hopefully there is a precedent somewhere that can be used as a kinda guide, different countries, different laws etc but even just as a comparison. I've everything crossed Kenya gets the green light. That I assure you.

Interesting topic for discussion. For arguments sake just say tullow decide to withdraw from Kenya and do indeed envoke some legal challenge/process or whatever to recoup monies. What do folk think would / could be the outcome. Considering none of us will actually know e

Been asking myself for some time now why would Kenya not happen?... Weighing up the benefits you'd be forgiven for thinking it's going to happen eventually. Might be be news tomorrow, next week, next month or even further down the line, but if, and when it does, and if tlw are still 100% involved then I'm sure there will be a re-rate to eclipse all re-rates. Have watched today's presentation and the slight chuckle from Rahul when talking about Kenya would suggest he knows its on everyone's minds, but more importantly it suggests to me he fully expects a very positive outcome.

That is true, the whole stock market is nothing more than a bus...get on and of at the correct stop and you make money, miss your stop and you lose and need to go around until your stop comes up again. It's nothing more complex on that in reality.

Watching the current climb north possibly whilst the de-rampers start looking less sage like. Simple daily price movements that are quite the norm with O&G stocks...even a broken clock tells the correct time twice a day. Tick Tock to higher sp, it will come eventually.

Possibly gingy, but if that's the case there must be something going on at a whole load of O&G sector businesses who have had a sizeable drop in sp lately. I reckon it's nothing more than the current price of oil. Not long ago there was buying at 38p by someone close to what's going on with tullow. You'd need to be very naive to think they would do that knowing "something was going on". Come summer time things will be much different I'd wager. And bst is only 8 weeks away lol.

Aye, quite likely coco. If the spread wasnae as big that would have been an option as it's quite possibly going to be moving between plus /minus 10% by then with a chance to get in and out without taking the end gamble lol.

Been mulling it over all night Paul. Was an easy choice, if all goes well then I'd have made quite a profit.. but the downside far outweighed the upside (this time).

No doubt be some trading opportunities between now and next update as folk position themselves... But after David Minchin and He1, then Leslie Peterkin at Advance Energy I'm not prepared to risk heads or tails on this one so "I'm out".... If its signed off then going to miss quite a jump, but can always get back in albeit at a higher price. good luck all

Hope your correct there GW62. think we've all been thinking we should have had an rns today, but if the extension is based on a deadline from operator of the 30th...then fingers crossed it's went to the wire just because it has, and tomorrow at some point we get the rns we're waiting on confirming it's "game on"
