Mate, SOLG's an explorer not a producer. Mining isn't about a taking a few shovels from the back of van and digging a hole. It's a major, major operation requiring huge amounts of capex and extensive technical expertise. Let's leave these huge undertakings to the experts ie BHP, Newcrest, Rio etal. That's the purpose of BHP etc...SOLG finds the stuff, we sell it to the majors and the majors spend the cash to extract it from the ground and sell it to the customer....

My timeline is quite limited so I can hold SOLG for another 8-12 months max. We all have our own financial considerations and pressing concerns...

Poods - I don't know the identity of the seller but I've been watching the price for weeks and there's definitely a singular source of selling from a dedicated seller..it's certainly not small investors selling a few shares to pay the bills...of course if you've got the patience then current price flaccidity is a great opportunity to build a cheap entry position

I know something. If Mather tries to take this to production you can wave goodbye to 100p/share. I don't believe he's even considering this. if he his then he's a fool cos he'll be diluted into the ground big time.

A huge disappointment today on the back of good news. More depressing was the appearance of a hefty seller on the book triggered by today's RNS. Selling from options exercised? The market's looking for a stonking liquidity event - the company sold to a bidder for a wad of cash...anything else and this is another Hummingbird...or in the case of that stock a dead Dodo..that went to production and the excitement built on the first bar produced and then...........the price fell out of the sky

cash, cash and cash. It's the only thing that matters to this skittish market

SolGold (SOLG) has promised to update its mineral resources estimate for Alpala before the year is out. Before then, around 20,000m of drilling needs to be completed, though investors will likely be encouraged by the results of several new drilling holes, disclosed today, which the copper-gold miner said showed signs of “extraordinarily high grade” zones, including large intersections of 2.5 per cent copper-equivalent. We remain buyers.

Conclusion: We look forward to the resource upgrade in December, however, with drilling continuing to intersect further wide zones of mineralisation, it is evident that subsequent further resource upgrades in 2019 are likely to continue to expand the overall resource endowment of Alpala.
