I use ADVFN for live prices - cost around £20 pcm. I did have their L2 at £58 pcm but I also found that I don't need it. L2 is useful for traders but it can encourage over-trading and that ain't great. ADVFN is absolutely reliable and it never goes down, ever

I would use LSE but their site is far too unreliable.

As an aside. I'm not sure why there are those who complain about the content and quality of the chat forums. It's an open forum. People want to express themselves which in today's oppressive culture is to be absolutely welcomed. Yes, some may have ulterior motives. So what? We're all here to make money, long or short.

I've been treading the chat boards for years. Ramping, de-ramping, excessive posting, lying etc etc is all part of the rich tapestry of the boards. There are those who know what their subject and those posters are gold dust, pure gold dust. I exclude myself from that category. And if you cannot differentiate between the good and the bad then that's your problem. As an adult, we take responsibility for our actions

If anyone knows how to mix it with the majors and understands how to play the game it's Heddle. Ex-Macquarie man as well. I'm sure they've advised all the majors on various corporate actions. GGP's in good hands and Heddle will extract the max price for all of its GGP's assets..I reckon he has an instinctive appreciation

MRE is a Mineral Resource Estimate not a Maiden Resource Estimate

'a small part of the overall mineralised system'. GGP will own 25% after the initial 5% valued at FMV being sold. The question is who values and how do they value the entire discovery if the initial MRE only covers a small part of the discovery? What about the other 'large part' as opposed to the 'small part'? How do we value the 'large part'?

I trust the 5% is not a FMV of the initial MRE but of the entire Hav discovery though how they arrive at a guestimate at what Hav contains without more drilling etc etc is beyond my meagre intellect

If Newcrest do buy GGP as a whole then the 5% is irrelevant,surely

MFU - That's a very pertinent point you make. All is ahead of schedule at Havieron so why shouldn't the MRE be ahead of schedule as well?
