IF this is true then it's the first monetisation event for some time on the Origin-FOG licences. One would think FOG is also aware of this development but no doubt we will have to wait for the full details of what exactly this plan is all about

I wonder if FOG is planning something similar?

What you describe is applicable and indeed normal to all natural resource companies seeking to bring discoveries through to full development..

Most won't be here in 2032 or indeed 2025. Looking so far ahead is utterly meaningless and offers little value to most on here but PasB's efforts are worthy nonetheless and it seems unbiased.

We are a minority partner in a JV financed by external financing but value will emerge from GGP to all those who have a stake in it but the real question is how those rewards emerge and to what degree those rewards are delivered, either thru' a takeover or through fundies (production, profit etc and further exploration success)...it's all pointing in the RIGHT direction now

It's got nowt to do with shorting or the MM's. GGP's got a hefty free-float and it takes a pretty hefty volume of buying in size to force the price plus it's become somewhat of a traders stock which in itself is never great if you're investor rather than a trader

Fundamentally, the road ahead is now clear so unless you're on margin then let the plan to play out

I'm more interested in how Newcrest will respond in deed and word to Wyloo's apperance in the Havieron-Paterson equation..Forrest's no upstart muppppettt but one of Australia;s richest people after Rinehart made from his mining interests so he knows the score, he's a player and an operator..
