Deferred shares
Deferred shares carry fewer rights than ordinary shares and can include:
shares in which dividends are only paid after all other classes of shares have been paid
shares in which dividends are only paid after a certain date or event
shares that are not tradable until a certain date - such shares are usually issued to employees in order to give them a long term interest in the company and to increase their loyalty
shares which, in the event of insolvency, do not give their holders any rights until all other shareholders are paid
Clued...take no notice of nuri, he just types absolute garbage...he doesn't buy/sell shares he just iritates everyone on various boards with the same drivel. I'm surprised he hasn't used his usual "this is going down to £2" quote, its seems his new one is £1.00. Dont ask him how he comes to his firgures as he can never gives an answer...its just usual "what I think and the market think are completly different"...you can say that again. He even valued Greggs at £2 about 6 months again when they where around £25.00 and not they are £30+...Just ignore him.
@seen_it_done_it the dividend were in the results as follows:-
"The third interim dividend will be paid on 31 December 2021 to shareholders registered on 26 November 2021. Subject to AGM approval, the proposed final dividend will be paid on 31 March 2022 to shareholders registered on 18 February 2022."
Could you have bought tern at the beginning of the year..well obviously yes
If you had sold today then yes you could have made 200% profit…don’t disagree
Tern has achieved growth this year…well it’s gained 200% as you said but you only benefit from the growth if you have sold and locked in the profit.
If you still hold the gains maybe lower also it’s not always positive (shares go up and well as down)
If I want dividends well I don’t put all my eggs in one basket and have invested in dividend stocks
The comment you made about this share rising 200% this year is absolutely useless unless you bought at the bottom and sold at the top…if you bought years ago and still hold you have made zero….a gain/loss is not achieved until you sell…so that comment is totally throw away….if you have bought at the bottom and sold then well done if you have achieved a 200% gain…but if you still hold how much have you made or received in dividends? Oh none??
Nuri123 doesn't buy/sell shares he just makes thinks up in his dreams - and of course its a poor close for you because its risen again :-) and (s)he's the one that said Greggs was only worth £2.00 per share, when they were at £25 and currently at £31. Laughable really and good Nuri isn't a financial advisor [well I hope not]!!! - oh yes I forgot "what you think is fair value and what the market value a share are two different things" - yeah too right they are.
Nuri123, you call it reflecting and questioning, I call it bull sh 1t, nobody believes a word you say! Just look at your message history its just full of contradictions. One day you have bought £150k then the day [even hours]after you’ve sold and the company is the biggest waste of space and going down the tube. You say you’ve never lost on your trades but yet on one post you’ve sold at a loss. You tell that many lies on numerous boards you’re constantly tripping yourself up….you’re the one with no credibility or reputation…boring.
Hi moniman, this was taken from their last update on 05.10.21, if you saw it... "Our plans are based on the further opportunities that we see for Greggs in the UK market. In the long term we think there could also be potential for Greggs internationally; we are conducting some very early analysis to help better understand the possible opportunity."
JEFFERIES RAISES DRAX GROUP TO 'BUY' ('HOLD') - TARGET 660 (280) PENCE
Wonder if this was the reason for the increase on Friday and today - looks like clearing the 500p zone yet again today, and looks like someone is still hiding down the rabbit hole.
Surprised Nuri hasn't mentions his favorite figure of £2.00, everything with him seems to be going down to £2.00
Airfix03…I know you are busy building your model planes etc…but you constantly keep avoiding the same question….what is your take on “zone”.if the current price of 496p (which it has been for some time now) isn’t in the 500p zone then what is? You never seem to explain why this was NEVER going to get over the 300p zone EVER…that’s your words not mine….so please expand to everyone on this board….I bet you can’t!!!
