It's good that POG is using U.K law in bankruptcy, and the U.K court system.

The Big question did Gazprom over step the mark by demanding early settlement?

It can be argued that when shareholders invested in Russia, it was a stable country for commerce.

Points to be watched regiously and CHECKED:
1)The borrowing agreement between Gazprom and POG ( understanding this will help you understand the procedure
2) The process for calling in early a debt. ( this is where attention to detail comes into play).
3) Who gains the acquisitions ( follow that through ghost companies).

Blaming the American, European & United Kingdom sanctions won't cut it ......Dialog its Foriegn Office that Russia behaviour has hurt British Business & investment abroad will produce the right results

@lawrence13 I have absolutely 100% sympathy and thoughts with you.

Dealing with government, is sometimes better with dialogue than blame.

OK, acknowledged that, maybe, A Big maybe Russia will break apart into different countries and for them to lift sanctions they will need to do all the damage done.........never discount anything..........have a feeling Russia is exhausting itself......we wait and see

Us mere Civilian/ shareholders are only an after thought, it's the British foriegn policy that you are at the mercy off, if British business is suffering then policy will change x

This is due to today briefing from the security heads of UK & US.

China apparently is stealing technology, arranging accidents for people.

I think it be a good thing that the deal doesn't go ahead, we will be far more successful without having our diagnostic replicated.

@widglide I will not knock what you say, since I had a nasty experience of dismissing derampers or trolls or mms agents as they were guessing ludicrous facts that turned out true; it turned out that two CEs were lying in RNS.

That's why, being burnt ( all my shares were in one company) they are now spread about various companies some very high risk but , one board is very entertaining, the rest such as this, nice.

The companies RNS here seem honest and professional, and yes ouch with the sp. But there are external influences at play.

Unless, you ate suffering from the following:
1/ facing financial ruin; deciding to take everyone with you.
2/ not a shareholder and trying to get in a lower price ( I don't think that the case).
3) lowering sp to buy more

Well said Bearlittle but I would add on the paper money bit, countries are looking at going digital currency so they can choose to put restrictions on purchasing for its citizens.

Basically if you good , hardly any restrictions if naughty restrictions ( just like China).

Like the fuel sanctions, new buyers will be found .....like China, same as with the oil .

I know sometimes people feed on conspiracy theories, for the unknown is what breeds negative theories until information arrives.

There is a actual/virtue global war going on, which is fuelling inflation, sanctions and poverty.

So investors who have large investments in companies are pulling out and placing their shares into money or short bonds.

I've for myself have moved my 6 figure pension pot from a moderate risk fund to a cash fund. However, at the sametime spreading my purchasing power to buy shares in companies that I would normally NOT buy into, each month.

I hope this explanation stops the unnecessary negative speculations.
