Oh Yes it does, read it again..Hanman's Demichles clearly says We understand they are making progress but slow progress and he also says The UK export agency will offer some finance but not enough, he also says that a solution could be found but he doubts it will be by the end of the year, when he says Premier,FIG & Rkh had a mutual agreement that something would be in place by the end of the year.
So it's definately not good news but don't blame the reporter, it's the highly respected Oil & Gas analysts who are doing the talking.
Well, we know 2 of the City sources,Hanman & Partners & Barclays, and I'm sure Barclays have been approached by Standard Charter.
Hanman's Demichles was the top oil man for Merril Lynch and is now Director of O&G for Hamnan and Josie is Director of O&G for Barclays, so we are dealing with people who know what they're talking about here, not some numpty journalists as some here seem to think.
Interesting & Insightful post from Red.Respect !
We all have our own way of playing this, whether it's the Stanley,Fund,Schach or Mr P way, all strategies should be respected. Some will win & some will lose, that's just the way it is on Aim. May the Best Investors Win !
Jndavid,of course SL has not yet been confirmed a duster, my assessment is based purely on the laws of probability, which state that statistically there is an 80% chance of hitting dust at SL.If, on the 20% chance- they hit black gold at SL, then a buying opportunity still presents itself for those quick on the buy button.Yes. it will open gap up but I expect it will still climb higher and then more buyers will pile in for WH,so buying opportunities abound on the back of various scenarios , it's just about how each individual wants to play this explorer. Good Luck to All.
Shareholders should not be overly concerned about the daily moves. These micro-explorers always drift down when there's no news but they can rise very quickly too when the right news is announced. A JV would see this up 100/200% in a day. I'm happy to wait for news.
Mikey, it's dropped 40% on a placing to fund 2drills,so I would think a 'temporary' 40% drop first thing on SL duster is what we can reasonably expect, but fear not, because just as the last of the sellers are clearing, I will begin buying for the WH spud. I anticipate a quick bounce from the SL duster - so it's fingers on the buzzers and buy in tranches after the initial fall as it's impossible to guess the bottom with one trade. But tranche buying on the lows offers you the best chance of being filled at or near the bottom. Good Luck to All, Whatever your Strategy.
Lots of Sellers....Has SR finally thrown the towel in ?
Gatto, Let's not pretend there are naive investors here who innocently invest their savings on one the the riskiest shares on the planet !! We are all Greedy Bastards, and that's why we're here gambling on the Wild West of Investment world. This ain't no dividend payout blue chipper, this is a shit or bust roller coaster and we all know it and most are fully aware they are investing in a small oil explorer that can make then serious dollar or just easily lose their entire investment in the next in a short time frame. So if anyone here gets scared by what people write, then they shouldn't be investing in Petro Matad becsuse this share is not for the faint-hearted, It could make you a small fortune or you could lose your entire investment.Balls of Steel are a must have for anyone playing this game ! We all play this game differently & we all make up this market, so we are all important be we bull or bear and we should be free to post our opinions/hopes regardless of what they are. Remember, This is Aim and it takes No Prisoners!
Yes Noloss, 3.84p is a good price but so was 4.84,5.84.6.84.7.84 & 8.84 until Riverfort came along :(.
Unfortunately, we only ever know if it was a good price 'after' we have sold the said shares.
You must be swimming in amc shares now Nolloss ? And I'm rather concerned at your unwillingness to diversify, especially, after all those informative seminars I gave on diversification.Maybe you were at college on those days but I can't stress just how important it is to diversify with these risky pennies to manage the risk and increase the odds of catching a multi-bagger.
Potatoe, I never gave any credence to the £1 a share party, that's the domain of the Amc diehards like CT & co,it's nothing more than hot air as there's more chance of a 1p a share party if you ask me but to answer your question- I don't know the cost per tonne of this mine but I expect we may get a better idea when the illusive PFS shows herself.
Yes, I agree Mikey30, When this hits 4p on SL duster, I expect it to recover quickly for the WH spud, so that's my target price, I remain flexible and I'm happy to trade at 4/5p?any lower is a bonus.
Mike, I think that ' huge falling wedge that's tightening every day' is the one in Robin's underpants being pulled by disgruntled shareholders awaiting the PFS...
There's the depressing daily mark-down again. This is being walked down professionally in an extremely well-measured manner to facilitate the large sell orders from the 2nd placing. It's extremely unusual to see a small companies shares being marked-down for such a prolonged period and in such a well orchestrated manner but this incessant selling must stop at some point. But when, is anyone's guess ? It's been an absolute nightmare for shareholders, who are now sitting on a 40% loss on their investment since that devastating 2nd placing was announced on the 13th June. Good Luck to All.
My apologies Sasa, my mistake.
Wrong person, that post was therefore not in any way directed at your good self.
I hope Robin wasn't holding the PFS back for a higher Nickel price because it's now down from 15k to 12k.
We've had an uninterrupted 10 year Bull Market and myself & Sageman have been preparing for a downturn. I've been winding my pennies down over the last few months from 11 companies to 3.Downturn's are not good for penny shares, If you think it's hard for them to rise in a bull market, you ain't seen nothing yet, holding pennies through a downturn is like Death by a 1000 cuts.
However, on the plus side,as amc has already fallen 95%, a downturn will have minimal impact on shareholdings that have already lost 95%.
Had to laugh at Sasa's post this morning, he thought I was Potatohead and that I was talking to myself..lol lol..Delusion & Paranoia have now set in even amongst Amur's most rational long-term holder.Investing in Amc, clearly takes its Toll.
Cash is now King !
Aw C'mon Nollossuntilyousell, Please tell us what happens next ? a steady drift to 2p ?
Hi Speedie, I've lost money here too and I'm gutted ,so i'm only the stating the truth,no one in their Wildest Dreams could have possibly imagined on award of the license 3years ago that 3 years on we would be almost completey wiped out.But its happened and that's whete we are ! Any Amc shareholder that is not absolutely gutted with the 95% fall isn't telling the truth.
Manuel, I think the word you are looking for is 'Gutted ', maybe with an 'Absolutely' thrown in front of it !
This dramatic 40% fall has been extremely measured, the sp's being marked down in small increments almost every day since that fateful 2nd placing day on 13th June. This measured incremental mark down strongly suggests that the Mms are still working big sell orders from the 2nd placing. The unwanted placing shares are still being sold (at a loss) as and when the volume permits and that's why there's barely an uptick, all available volume is being sold into every single day along with another small incremental mark down. I think we are now realistically looking at 6p when results come in 35/45 days time and then I expect she'll open at 4p on the duster. So like posters here are saying it's a waiting game for all parties involved, even the flippers, who can only sell as the volume permits and it's been much lower for the 2nd placing so it probably won't even clear by the time the dusters announced-which could then exacerbate the fall. But this is the Wild West of the Investment world and AIM takes No Prisoners !
