Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Sharp Eyed Investors may get news from the EEF(if there is any)before it's Rns'd.
I had this myself last year with Clontarf Energy, they had applied for an exploration license in Equatorial Guinea and I heard the results could be announced at 4pm Gmt at an oil conference in Africa.
So I scoured the web for news around the said time and the awards were posted on the conference web page at 4pm and Clontarf had been awarded an exploration block. So I filled my boots and then posted my info on the Clon lse board 20mins before the market closed.
Clontarf Rns'd the good news ( that we already knew) the next morning and the shares went through the roof, I sold out quickly and banked my profit.
So it may be worth scouring for news over the next few days, as the EEF or another news agency could post news on amc before they themselves do.
Happy Hunting
After unloading 10s of millions over the last 4/5 weeks,Riverfort can't have a significant float at this moment in time- so this could shift through the gears quickly on the right news.Yes, they get another 3million on Friday but if the announcement/s is/are significant as we are led to believe, then Riverfort's selling will be easily absorbed amidst a rising share price.
I think one significant announcement will be made at the EEF sometime over the next 2 days and the other will be the PFS,followed by the media event. That would make sense with Alistair Ford's 'Watch this Space' & Significant Announcements(plural) in 2-4 weeks statements.
I can't see Ford coming out with these kind of statements unless he was confident that they had a more than good chance of actually happening within the stated timeframe.
We all know that many big agreements are signed and showcased at the EEF- so maybe it's 3rd time lucky for Amur Minerals !
Watch This Space___________________
It's time for the Amurites to take center stage !
I have escaped my enforced incarceration in the LSE Gulags with TAD only to see 4 Big Dumps from Riverfort !
The imminent news will have to be truly significant to withstand these sales because all the P.I's who have recently bought Riverfort shares in anticipation of the Big news(including myself), will also join Riverfort in dumping endless millions onto the mms if the news is anything but spectacular.
Tad remains under lock & key !
Maybach, I have no doubt lse has a close of play price of 4.45p.
Advfn has 4.45p too and other sites will have various prices ranging from the offer to the bid,the last trade posted, the last trade made ect ect...Close of play prices with financial websites and brokerage firms are frequently inaccurate.
Check the trades and see if any transactions have occurred during the day at the COP price quoted, if not, then the COP price is more than likely incorrect.
Another misleading thing some do is take the last trade as the COP, which could simply be a trade made earlier but posted late.
Treat COP's with scepticism unless backed up with transactions . Plus Cop's are pretty much irrelevant anyway because you can never trade at them, only when the market re-opens the next day can you act and then the price could have moved again.
The only true prices are the ones you get quoted from the market makers,so all past trades were true at the time transacted, not when they are posted, because they can delay posting them.
The Fact is 4.45p never happened today.
It doesn't matter what they all say..No trades were conducted at 4.45p today. This 4.45p price is fictitious.Guaranteed.
And GB,those late posted trades, marked as sells here are almost certainly buys. The bid was not 4p, unless it has been raised, which is highly unlikely on that tiny volume.
Maybach,You also need to learn how to read share prices accurately too.It says the ask is 4.895p above here but it isn't !
You won't take it Mike because we haven't finished at 4.45.
Learn how to read a share price.
The volume is back to normal again now, just a few small 'college kid' trades, one for less than £20 - so the recent buying spree is clearly over now until the anticipated news is released or not ?
If Riverfort were truly clever, they'd have allowed a few small quarter point upticks to keep the buying interest strong as buyers will soon stop buying if the share does not rise. As we all know a rising share attracts ever more buyers - so Riverfort have not maxed out this selling opportunity.
They get another 4million on Thursday- to go with whatever else they hold and this will be used if the significant announcements materialize.
Its the EEF next Thurs/Frid, we should hear something around then if the ex Minesite Editor is to be believed and if we don't then it was a very good marketing ploy from Mr Young to assist Riverfort in selling millions of shares.
It's a sea of red on looking at those trades on that rns, I'm surprised the shareprice is holding up in the face of such strong selling.
It's a terrible day for Regency shareholders and the end can not come quick enough.
Should be back to the normal drift down again tomorrow.
A bad day for Regency shareholders.
Sp will almost certainly end in red, sellers charging out of the blocks with this rns just as they did with the last one.
Although, this selling should abate when the bid drops back into the 40s and normal trading should resume.
Another Great day for the Regency Haters.Lots to criticize in the rns.
Well Done to Zumore,Booby,Magic & Cgull, revel & enjoy this sad day for Regency Mines.
Up she Goes....
£30,000,000 Turnover in 10months for a company with a £4million mkt cap.
That's serious & it will be interesting when they project the profit forecasts.
Exciting Times ahead for Regency shareholders.
No, they will sell as and when the volume permits.Today it did not permit.
The Hur deal may not look spectacular percentage wise on the sp but it has added over £100,000,000 to Hur"s market value today...That size deal would be massive for a small company like amc.
This Hur deal illustrates the peril of being out and awaiting positive news for entry....Any Big ('Significant Announcements) 'Deal and amc could open 100% + higher.
Yes Potato, it's been utterley depressing(and destructive) since Riverfort arrived but there's generally one spike a year- which will allow those that wish, the opportunity to exit with some profit.
Would any of the resident Regency Historians (Booby,Zu'bore, Magic,Cgull) like to hazzard a guess at the annual profit forecast for this £4million micro-explorer ?
I know this is guess the future as opposed to reciting the past as your all more accustomed to but that's how you make money in this game.Incessantly reciting the past,as you four do,will never make you any money, you have to anticipate the future and act on your conclusions to make money in this game.
Fair Comment Mike but if the sp's rises on these significant announcements then all is forgiven and forgotten ;-)
Historians of the Regency, the point is the Elders here are always going on about what a poor investment Curzon has been for Regency but I have never heard one of the historians ever mention what a great investment UKOG was, and yes Magic, it was monetized at 7/8p.
So the resident historians here are clearly unbalanced individuals who often spout fake news(Alba shares sold, always talking about how poor an investment Curzon is but never how good Alba is ect ).
Anyway, enough about history, as I'm sure we're all looking forward to the profit figures from the coal production but on a more depressing note, Zu'bore' is set to return to team up with his Alter ego Brother Booby in time to critize and rip the profit figures to pieces.
