Interestingly, there is an article online (don’t have time to look atm) which said that the AFC charger and engineers would arrive on location two weeks prior to each race, to allow time for hydrogen generation.

Decided to switch off today and let things play out but curiosity got the better of me. End result, bought another 20k. Hope you’re all holding strong.

There’s no telling when this will stop and as was mentioned last week, it’s a death by a thousand cuts atm. The trend is down, there’s no news and that’s going to result in selling. I have faith in AFC and could have taken profit weeks ago but I bought to hold long term. However, I’d rather take a small profit or loss than a big loss if the selling continues. If I had a low buy-in I’d hold regardless, but I don’t.

It’ll drop because not everyone is a LTH with a low average. It was heavily bought on the ABB news, followed by some heavy ii selling which caused more to sell. Now we’re getting closer to my average and the same will happen unless news is forthcoming soon. I’m not stressing, but why would I sit on a loss when I can take a profit?
LTH’s can be patient, unlike newer holders.

Lots of people will have bought in at this level and held as the price rose, but as it drops they’ll sell and possibly at a small loss. I know quite a few who bought having been caught up in the initial hype; most of whom didn’t really know what they were doing. The feel good factor has dissipated and with no news incoming the price drops are more pronounced. Selling volume is outweighing buying volume.

I’ll side with you to an extent. Could the company be doing better re comms to pi’s? Truthfully the answer is yes. Do they need to address pi’s? No they don’t. However, in my working life I’ve always adopted a ‘can do’ attitude, and whether a webinar/presentation is necessary is largely irrelevant; but it wouldn’t do any harm.
I’ve emailed AFC and politely requested a reply. No-one is so busy that he/she can’t reply to a message.

They won’t have insurance? Of course they will. They’ll also be tested en-route and operate in a bubble. Certainly there’s an issue if a driver tests positive but I don’t see that as insurmountable either. Passenger cruise ships can’t sail because the public and crew are subject to COVID restrictions, whereas professional sportspeople are effectively exempt due to stringent testing. If you’re going to comment on something I’d politely suggest that you keep to facts. If Ex E is postponed, so is football, international cricket, F1, EE etc etc. Additionally, the crew remain onboard as do the scientists and staff for race control. The chances of the race being cancelled are slim.

I think the participants of Ex E are travelling on St Helena. It has over 100 cabins.

That ship has got to sail! I’ve already paid for Yellows one way ticket.

It’ll go ahead unless they cancel every other professional sport, which I think is unlikely.

then all we can do is hold. I’ve no doubt that things are pretty busy atm and other things are in the pipeline. On a positive note, the price is looking better already :-)

Have you tried emailing AFC directly requesting an answer to your concerns? I see no reason why a polite and appropriately worded message wouldn’t elicit a response.
If you’re still unhappy; sell.
I have quite a high average of 60p and I’m not remotely concerned about the share price. LTHs will probably hold higher volumes but stand to lose more each time the price drops. People in my position possibly hold fewer shares but each drop brings me closer to my buy-in. Swings and roundabouts............I’m still not selling. I’ve been doing this for 30 years and things like this happen from time to time, especially on AIM.

I’m not much of a fence sitter in real life, but I’ll try my best here.
I read all posts and usually find the information to be constructive and informed. My only gripe is with those who don’t hold shares and clearly have an agenda.
I’d prefer to have too much info than too little and I’ll decide which is relevant, after all, the board is supposed to be a help not a hindrance. I don’t expect all data to be correct but in the majority of cases, it is. It would be a shame if people were deterred from posting as we’d all lose out in the end. Finished and pulling the splinters out of my ar5e.
