Heat pumps are rubbish on old build houses and bungalows and very expensive to purchase

Already spent 6K last year on replacing my mums back boiler to a woucester gas combi (that is hydrogen ready) . Hydrogen is better tech

As for full on electric - THE NATIONAL GRID WILL FAIL due to demand -

AS for car fueling

2hrs plus by electric , 5mins or less by petrol or hydrogen

U could be sure if it was fail it would be instantly down 50-75%
