Well if they are dropping it for their mates.... then they have to (at some point) increase the SP for their mates to make any money... otherwise nobody prospers.

1) Use the Spread to ensure Buys were reported as Sells
2) Supress the SP on huge volume buy days - with the belief that people wwould think Bergen are selling
3) Pi's get scared and sell their low average shares or make a loss.
4) Delay the TR1 as long as possible so that Pi's continue to sell
5) MM''s win on high spread
6) Fat Cats Bergen sell into future highs on positive RNS news which requires a little patience but will come.

The only losers are the PI's who sold at a loss - believing Bergen were offloading.

The MM's have suppressed the SP in very impressive way.

If they were worried about the risks they were taking as PI's - why don't/didn't they simply free ride the shares the moment their investment doubled. Weird - They can do so many things but are incapable... then they look to blame the company - for their own dumb strategies.

They are emotionally invested... but not financially invested.... which is a real kick in the nuts.

Eggonaroll - its the MCAP you need to be mindful of.... The MCAP can fluctuate between £30M to £80M - with market impatience and sentiment alone.

You can basically achieve these single bags in many stocks on AIM - even the dog crap ones.

The REAL growth value is when something huge is discovered... thats when you get into the £200-500M valuations.

I think a lot of you would benefit in not watching the SP price on a daily basis.

Think about it this way... is it likely that the MCAP of a penny stock could fluctuate from £50M to £500M in a single day... probably not.

So have a quick look to see if RNS's have been released at 7am and then check the SP at 5pm while on the toilet, if you really are fighting withdrawal symptoms.

Some are proper addicts on here. It will come good when at some point in the future but staring at it wont make a jot difference.

Ok Ross... Given that A'level results yesterday were pretty tough on some people... you can use a Calculator. Hopefully that will speed things up with you coming back with an answer 5 hours since the question was set.

Good post Teacup... but the equaliser for all the dross that is posted by the people you mention is that they have to continue doing this for 3-5 years before they discover if it was all worth it because at the end of the day - their posts wont dictate whether CERP discovers and extracts oil from the SWP.

Assume 2 billion shares. Assume £500M mcap.

What share price do you get ?

Whether CERP is valued at £20M, £25M, £40m... is chump change irrelevant.

It only matters whether it is ever valued at the target of £500M

Its stands to reason that if you sell out at 8p or earlier .... you probably would have sold out long before it ever reaches mid cap.

Only invest what you can afford to lose.

The daily SP fluctuations only matter to the traders.

Day trading on AIM is like trading in Cryptocurrencies. You are hoping to take advantage in Volatility.

It doesn't have anything to do with whether Angus can extract oil from their wells and sell it. That part is more for the long term investors to mull over.

If your ******** about the SP today... chances are your a trader.
