Explanation for Brockham flare was safety reasons. Do we really need it? it was only to be used for emergency, what emergency, I wonder this, as it has apparently been taken down. was to be used for only minutes. it's possibly over kill and part of the overcomplicated Which JT spoke of
After all there are plenty of other options " Close the taps" thats what the sits on the wellhead is for.
