Scally - If you can remove the detritus from the oil at the refinery (they must have some capability - for a fee), then the oil is good to go.
I don't refute that, just think they could be still cleaning out the well. Well I hope so, cos if it's clean and were only getting 2 tankers a week. Whew!!!.. Not so good

Hit the nail on the head with that statement gkb7. KL3 connected to KL4 is the cherry on the cake for us.

I notice it uses natural gas to run it, So it's not just the gas to wire that burns gas, if there were any restrictions on how much oil we can produce due to the gas burn. this just ups the ante. :) < smiley face......

Equipment that transfers heat to the produced gas stream. Heaters are especially used when producing natural gas or condensate to avoid the formation of ice and gas hydrates. These solids can plug the wellhead, chokes and flowlines. The production of natural gas is usually accompanied by water vapor. This reduction of fluid temperature can favor the formation of gas hydrates if heaters are not used. Heaters may also be used to heat emulsions before further treating procedures or when producing crude oil in cold weather to prevent freezing of oil or formation of paraffin accumulations.

Anyone know why at H.H. the pump goes off and on the wellhead. ( almost on a weekly cycle) been going on since they started. Thought the pump only went on for cleaning up and then when the well aged and it would be on all the time.
Are we going to have this at Brockham ?
