Just like to add to other great replies from others, if you only went at this with vaccines it becomes a single point of failure. It’s business. If testing was to fail (not that I see that happening) you have vaccines to cover, vice versa, if the vaccines doesn’t cover mutations you have testing to cover while you amend the vaccine.
